70th Day of Summer
It was a fine sunny morning, another typical way to start anything Yeah using sarcasm was just another thing on my agenda, other than eating, drinking, sleeping. Steven and Shane are sleeping at the moment; she was always known to be an early riser for that matter. Growing up in Ravok was always the same: wake up at 7: 30 am, have breakfast, go to school come back home, sleep, do homework, or whatever else she wanted to do. Life just felt like it was dragging, she’d rather be in school than in get own cottage. The first thing she decided to do was head out into the field. She made my way around the floor so she didn’t wake the two up on the floor. When she first made my way to the field, the first thing she felt was the breeze. A cold tingle went across my spine and it wasn’t too pleasant.

“Morning.” She told herself in the best way she could, that at least made her sound more pleasant and less negative, just to try and sound cool. “Nice accent.” She said softly to laughing at her stupidity. Suddenly, the bushes started rattling. Her gaze turned to the rustling bushes, her spine shaking as she walked back a little bit.

A girl pops up from inside the bushes, a nasty gash about six inches, as if she’d been in an accident. Her eyes widened a bit at the sight of the stranger. Akahi ran towards her noticing how deep the cut was. She kept asking her what was wrong and what had happened, but she couldn’t talk. She just kept crying and crying, holding her arm to keep it from bleeding. The blood kept seaping through her fingers and it wasn’t the most pretty thing to watch. Akahi ran inside to wake Shane up because he was a trained professional, well we all were, accept he had everything on him in case of emergency. He didn’t wake up, therefore she had to go through his things. She ran back outside, and began to cleaning the wound with a sponge and water. Then putting a long piece of tissue(gauz) then a bandage over it. This would keep the wound from getting any more infections and at least keep her sane until she got serious medical care.

The girl kept to herself as Akahi kept asking her if she were alright, it was if she wasn’t in the best mood. Therefore she decided to go into the forest due to her depression and get herself killed. She laughed in her mind, then stopped because well, it was just plain rude. "Are you alright miss?"

She asked her in a soft tone, almost as if she were about to cry to.

Her Vision
This sent her into a vision where she too was in the forest. Her mother was there, seeming to be protecting her from something. A beast! Yes.. yes it was... She had a bow and arrow in hand and she aimed it at the beast. But somehow it was mirrored and heading towards her. She stood out of the way to make sure she didn't get hit, but totally forgot about her own daughter. It hit Akahi, straight in the heart. In reality she held her heart, a tear falling down her cheek. Why did her dear mother forget about her?

In Reality
The girl looked at her in awe, holding her wound, looking at her if she were crazy. Akahi sighed, and lifted the girl up quickly, motioning her inside the cottage. She lead her to the bed to lie down and get some rest. She couldn't speak much but she gave a small nod, a thank you, and a smile. The woman closed her eyes, as she snuggled into the covers happily. Ever two hours or so, Akahi would check up on her and clean her wound again and re bandage it. She decided to take her to the nearest herbalist so she can help this poor woman. As the woman slept on the sixth hour, Akahi was on the table busy writing some poetry. She smiled, thinking of more inspiration that can re jog her memory of the good times. Well if there were good times in her life, she didn't remember them. Her parents made her into a robot and that's all she was ever going to be. She was just like a rag doll or a puppet, hanging on strings and old cloth. She looked at the paper a tear falling down her cheek again, being reminded of the past was like slavery. Being whipped or falling off of a cliff, the fear of death. She needed to know if her parents thought she was worth something, that they loved her in every way. They most likely didn't because she turned out to be a kelvic, who was an artic fox and this didn't please them. She was weak and needed to strengthen her body somehow, her skills were weak and needed to be worked on. Maybe she could get some people to help her, maybe Hadrian could help her or something. He seemed pretty smart when she first met him on the balcony.

Laughing at herself she continued her poetry, quoting a few poets. She loved poetry a lot, singing too, and dancing for people. Only thing she hated the most was being assaulted, she remembered her encounter in the market. How weakless she was, a nobody because there was no one there to help her. Or was there? How did she escape...? It was all a fast motion, all she remembered was something scared them off and then they ran away. She didn't know what or who did it but she felt safe at that moment. As if she were in the hands of someone very special who dearly cared for her. Wait! She wasn't in a fairy tale because there were no such thing as happy endings. Life an turn out in many different ways and it's all about your choices. You just have to think about what your going to do. Develop self-confidence and believe you can reach that goal. Then do what your meant to do and sore into the sky. Be who you are and not allow anyone to tie you down. Her grandmother told her that before she was about to die in her cottage. The only last bit of happiness she had left. She stared at the girl, all bloody and disgusting. She reminded her of her grandmother and that just sunk her heart down to the middle of her rib cage. Another tear fell, hadn't she been crying enough for the day? She cursed at her own hormones, this time very loud. The girl woke up startled as if she had a bad dreams. She was murmuring a few words trying to keep herself sane or something.

"I'm dearly sorry I'm such a clumsy person." Akahi told her softly motioning her to go back to sleep. But she didn't, it wasn't what she had done but it was what she saw. Akahi was able to make out a few words such as men and touching and sexuality. She made her way, kneeling down so she can stare at the woman. She assured her that everything was going to be alright and that she was there for her. The woman smiled as if she felt like Akahi was a guardian here to protect those in need. Akahi went to the kitchen to get a wet rag, she washed it in the tap. Bringing it back to the bed, she placed the rag on her forehead beginning to dab it against her face. She smiled softly as more of her flawless or at least used to be flawless face was being revealed. She must have been a slave because she now noticed the collar around her neck. She frowned thinking about the times when she wanted to be a slave. As if she was desperate enough to be one of them, she had been hiding since and covering up what she truly was. She grew up here and thought it was the best place on earth, but as a kelvic she was supposed to be enslaved. Assaulted? Raped? She sighed at the thought shaking it off like a wet dog. She smiled softly continuing her duties to make the woman feel better and comfortable as possible. She saw her bare ankles, seeing the thorns. She gasped going to reach to pluck them out when she couldn't feel anything. She after taking the nasty thorns out, she was some glass wedged in her skin slightly. She must have been in a lot of trouble if she reached all the way to her own home.

She carefully took the glass out beginning to stitch it back up with a needle and thread. She put a small cream she had made by herself with the plants she had gotten from a man to help the woman. This was to ensure a healthy lifestyle and that it didn't affect her in any way. She ran into the kitchen and got some more tissue(Gauz) placing it over the wound then bandaging it up again. She did the same process for every two ours as she did with her arm as well, the poor girl was in this state? She wondered what really had happened, well she just had to wait for the next day when she was better. She decided to lock the door shut tonight, close the windows, latching them shut as well. Then putting the blinds up and the lamps and candles on. She sighed wishing she had a guard to protect her like when she was being assaulted in the market. Akahi sighed rushing to the bathroom quietly as she changed into her night wear. She crawled onto the side next to the woman, just staring at her lifeless body. It looked as if she were dead but she was breathing. She just didn't move in her sleep or make weird movements unless she was dreaming. Akahi didn't want to take the risk of her getting hurt so she decided to just watch everywhere for the whole night. She didn't mind doing it for her because she always loved to help people. It was just another trait about her she had developed by her robot parents.

Memory is a way of holding onto the things you love, the things you are, the things you never want to lose.
