Born scrawnier than the rest of his brood, Sheil was never a good hunter. For this he was often held in disregard by his brothers and sisters.
When he was far younger than he is now, Sheil set off to find himself a prey that would earn him the respect and adoration of his peers. Ever determined to prove himself, Sheil flew far outside the confines of his families meagre hunting grounds.
After countless bells had tolled, Sheil came accross a lone Akalak wandering through the forest at night. The Akalak seemed young for his race but formidable all the same. Convinced that he was concealed Sheil silently dived on the Akalak, aiming to peirce the wanderer through the neck with his wrist blade.
Just before the blow struck though, the wanderer turned and simply plucked Sheil out of the air, throwing him to the ground. As he did this, the Akalak tore a gaping hole into Sheil's right hand wing, effectivley grounding him.
As the Akalak turned to snatch the finishing blow, Esailen, Sheil's twin brother, a being much more muscular and feral than he, dived and tore out the wanderer's throat.
Esailen had followed Sheil from their spire at castle XY, planning all along to steal Sheil's kill and then bring his body back for buirial. Sheil lay where he was, pretending to be unconcious and then as his brother leapt on him, he drove his wrist blade into his siblings heart.
