Yesterday, people in chat were requesting an actual villain instead of just more brooding PC's. Introducing Smiling Jack, Sunberth's returning serial killer. There's an open thread in Sunberth, starting off in the early morning around the crime scene. I included a bit of a flashback, to make things more interesting, but the morning scene is where the thread is starting.

The plan for Jack is to feud with any heroes that square off against him, and after a suitably dramatic showdown, enact a clever escape and move on to the next city, giving the heroes a moral victory and the safety of their town while Smiling Jack moves on to terrorize another region and give more heroes a chance to face off against an undeniably evil and repugnant foe in a suitably heroic fashion.
