Walking heavily and tiredly through the brush, Aluciro sighed with relief as she slumped against a tree. She had been walking for hours, and her feet felt so ragged. A flash of light and the girl had disappeared, in her place, a large golden leopard. The rosettes on her fur glistened, dotting her pelt. She lay down, her tail brushing her big paws. After a few moments, she rolled onto her belly, and reformed back into a human, quickly reaching for her clothes. It felt good to transform every now and then. A black and white horse trotted behind her, carrying a tent roll on its back.
"Ono, you can rest here.." Aluciro whispered, leaning over to stroke the horse's nose tenderly. Clambering up a tree, the Kelvic huffed and sat down on a branch. The Bronze Woods, huh? She laughed to herself. Alone for a long while now, it would be nice for some company.
