Physical Description Ele is a thin Charodae, lacking the graceful curves many of her race display. She never quite grew into her body, and even at her age retains the slight air of a gawky, uncoordinated young teenager. This isn’t to say she is short, because she isn’t; at 5’7” she may even be considered a taller female. Her skin is extremely pale: white with almost no pigment. It is especially sensitive to sunlight, so she limits her ventures above water to rainy or cloudy days unless wearing concealing clothing.

Character Concept Ele is a calm, simplistic person, rarely initiating or participating in conflicts. Introverted and independent, she doesn’t seek out interactions with others, but is not unfriendly when approached and will carry a conversation nicely. Curious and a bit of a magpie, she prefers to watch rather than participate. She deeply cares about people, but in a strange sort of way; she is the type to help out a stranger, yet pass acquaintances on the road without so much as a greeting. Perhaps this is because she secretly harbors a shy side and deep feelings of self-doubt. She is extremely loyal once a strong friendship is forged. She cares less about herself than her friends; not easily riled when personally insulted but angered when the insults or violence reaches out to her inner circle or those she deems “in her care.” On occasion, if one is looking closely, her normally tranquil expression will take on a faraway, almost sad look that breaks away when she is snapped from her thoughts.

Character History Raised in a fairly stable family deep in Charbosi and a bright student in school, Ele left soon after she graduated to trade and explore, near her home at first, but as time passed she began to be bored with seeing always the same and merely began to travel wherever the currents led. Or rather, that is the story she will tell others if she is questioned about her motives. She spends her days pearl-diving, growing food, fishing (for others), and singing to herself, though she does enjoy being out of the water to observe others. She has recently started up the process of learning to use plants for medicine. She doesn't buy much, but occasionally will hire herself out as a private fisherman, or sell a pearl or two for a bit of extra cash.

Housing/Location Ele recently arrived in Zeltiva. She is camping out near a rock outcropping just off the shore until she can either build herself a more permanent shelter or decide to move on.

Mount Ele owns a coral-red male seahorse she calls Aadi. He is docile in personality and not the fastest seahorse out there, but hardy and built for endurance. He, like other sea horses, can camouflage himself and his rider to the surrounding background. Ele has traveled a long ways with Aadi and is rather fond of him.
