Considered one of the most mysterious cities in Mizahar, Alvadas is called The City of Illusions. It is the home of Ionu and the notorious Inverted. This city sits on one of the main crossroads through The Region of Kalea.

Doubt (Solo)

Alvadas seemed to be rather fickle today. The streets were winding and the building were shifting places like mad. Nothing seemed to be the same at second glace, not even the people. It was as if the city was having a hay day with illusion and nothing was going to stop it. Was it throwing some kind of fit, Kinne didn’t know, but whatever it was he was getting kind of bored of walking around and never running into the building he wants. All he wanted was to go home. He skimmed the shops easily enough, found nothing worth purchasing, and so now all he wanted to do was go home. Home was where he wanted to go. Besides why was the city throwing him around everywhere? He passed like every notable location in Alvadas at least once…

Although home was where he wanted to go, wished to go, needed to go Alvadas did not seem willing. No, not that easily. It was like nothing is simple in Alvadas and everything has some hidden complexity if it be walking or fighting it mattered not. Though all this walking was good for him, it gave him time to clear his mind and silently meditate as he walked or think about things. He wondered how the tournament was going, that topic seemed to crop up everywhere he went. There had to be at least one person talking about it and the matches that went on. It sounded exciting, but he had no interest to go. Watching was never as fun as participating. That was for sure. Smiling at his thoughts, didn’t Miro tell him he signed up? Well, if so, Kinne wished him the best of luck.

He kept walking and more thoughts kept coming to him, thoughts about dinner, the manor, Miro and the strangers he invited to live them, heh, he was glad none of them were too off. That guy Belaya had emotional issues it seemed, but when he thought about it that was alright. We all go through hard times in our lives. He was sure Belaya was going through one now.

Still lost he wondered if he didn’t think about where he wanted to go he would get there faster? It was worth a shot, as just about anything was. Taking a deep breath in he held it for a moment before he let it out slowly. He took another and did the same thing. Kinne found that breathing exercises helped focus concentration and clear the mind; not only that but it was quite relaxing as well. Just what he needed. Taking a few moments as he walked he practiced his breathing in and out all while he tried to clear his mind.

The man was not yet too good with meditation. It took him a while to ‘clear his mind’ and even then thoughts would just pop up from nowhere. It took an amount of dedication to do what he does, and practice. Practice was the key to success in anything except, in Kinne’s case, magic. That was something he failed at. Continuing on with his walking he slowly counted the steps that he was taking, eight, nine, ten, eleven, twelve, along with his breathing. All of this made it easier to push the thoughts away, and each time one would come up he would do his best to ignore it and say louder, in his head, the numbers that he was reciting.
