Considered one of the most mysterious cities in Mizahar, Alvadas is called The City of Illusions. It is the home of Ionu and the notorious Inverted. This city sits on one of the main crossroads through The Region of Kalea.

20th Day of Fall, 511 Av

Today Fela was a cat on a mission. An important mission that could determine the rest of her life and how she conducted herself. Today was a day she would never forget and never regret, hopefully. Today was the day Fela found it...it. The legendary blue cookie of Alvadas legend.

Maybe legendary was a bit of a stretch for the cat seeing as she was the only creature that knew of its existence. Like most of her life, it all started with a dream.

The walls shined with a placid blue, echoing the soft and comforting feeling the room projected. Soft edges blurred and melted the colors of the objects inside the room together. Each step felt like walking on a cloud and each turn opened up a new hallway filled with possibilities. The black jaguar stalked each corridor with a purpose, an unknown and silly purpose. Even she was not aware of what she was seeking...she only knew she had to find it.

Voices rang out and bounced off the walls, the echos sent chills down her spine as she strained her ears hoping to catch a word of it. Each letter, each syllable trilled softly and landed as muted sounds with little meaning.

The light at the end of the hall was growing brighter and brighter with each approaching step, the sounds growing louder and more muffled. At last Fela reached a door--solid and dark. Silver swirls danced in the indigo paint of the gateway and lights shone brightly from around each crack and crevice. The cat extended one paw slowly which melted away to reveal a wrist slender and pale. Long fingers wrapped around the knob and yanked the wood free from its prison.

Light flooded the hallway and blinded the cat, the noise became amplified and drown out all thought with each note. The only thoughts were now on the sound--the music--and its meaning. And it was music wonderful and haunting. The sounds warbled as if submerged in a lake of clear and unbridled beauty. Tears rolled down the cat face in streams as she stepped forward into the doorway and allowed her eyes to focus. Standing proudly in the center of the room was a pillar made of ivory. Shining in the world of white.

Seated on top was a velvet pillow stitched in purple with delicate gold flowers placed around the edges. Fela reached out a shaking hand and brushed it along the edges of one such flower. It turned to dust in her hands and drifted upwards on an invisible breeze and in turned brushed her cheek as softly as she had brushed it. A small smile broke out on the cat's face and lit up her eyes with childlike wonder as the rest of the gold dust floated away among the swirling lights and colors of the dream world. Like magic it faded and left her with a sense of elation.

She turned her eyes back to the pillow and observed the object now placed on its center: A cookie of deep blue, the color of a stormy sea. The singing crescendoed with strange clicks and warbles, the sounds becoming more erratic and strange to her ears, almost a shrieking wail now. Water started to pour into the room and fill it up quickly and soon Fela found her self submerged and floating in a sea of green and blue, water flowing in and out of her body as easily as air. The cat closed her eyes and listed as the voice turned once again to a beautiful and sorrowful ballad which she could not understand. Somehow she understood...she knew what she needed to do.

She gently opened her eyes and found herself staring at her own four walls. The brightness of Leth shined down through the window and spilling onto her blanket. A warmth trickled down her body and her small smile turned mischievous. She knew what she needed to do...on Syna's first light she would set out to find the legendary Blue cookie of Alvadas.
