Personality
Personality: Like most Pitriusians, I admittedly have a bit of a superiority complex, but it helps me strive for perfection in all my work, most of which is the family business of weaponsmithing. I think highly of my work, and I don’t take negative criticism well. I normally stand up only for myself and my family. I probably would stand up for someone I love as well, but I have yet to experience such a thing, aside from loving my parents. I prefer the quiet air of the workshop, with the exception of the clanging metal, hissing steam, and burning coals. I also like the quiet outdoors. When I'm alone, or when no one is looking, I'll secretly talk out loud to my dead brother, usually about how my day was, and he would talk back, even though I'm sure I'm imagining it. But it helps keep his memory alive.
Ethics: I will not hesitate to exact my revenge on anyone that has betrayed me in any way. I believe in a fair fight with no tricks or cheap moves, just the pure strength of the fighter and his skills with a sword. A man should always work for what he rightfully earns, and not stop fighting for what he deserves if it is not given to him. My family is the only Isurian family where the males grow their hair out and not tie it up. My family and I believe the length of our hair represents age, which in turn earns respect, and represents wisdom, knowledge, and superiority. I hold keeping my life over taking someone else’s, and I do not, at all, look down on brutal, vindictive, or sadistic deaths. I myself have brutally killed a man or two.
Likes: bladed weaponry, fighting with said weaponry, drawing, Linkin Park, drums, Republicans, truthfulness, the sunset, Ratchet and Clank, running, hunting, shotguns, and dragons, both western and eastern
Dislikes: snakes, therefore Dhani, Democrats (obviously), high-pitched noises, bugs, any race that betrays, deceives, or lies to others to benefit themselves, swimming (terrible swimmer), the undead (if they died, they need to stay dead), and anyone who pronounces “nuclear” as “nukyuler”. That includes you, Bush. It’s bad enough you sucked as a president, the least you could do was say “nuclear” right.

Pre-Creation
I grew up around swords. I grew up around people that made swords. My father was even a weaponsmith. My younger brother and I were practically destined to take over the family business. I come from centuries of weaponsmiths. The trait runs in my blood. When my brother and I were old enough, we started working in our father’s shop; I was 24, my brother was 18. There were times when our father left us to go hunting, so we were left to take care of the shop ourselves. We made a good bit of profit though. One day, however, my brother became careless, tossing a hammer behind him that landed on a chunk of metal, causing it to flip into the air, and through a series of almost impossible circumstances, ended in a freak accident involving me witnessing my little brother get impaled in the neck with hot metal blade from the forge. It scarred me for life. My mother found out and freaked. When my father came back with that night’s dinner, he saw what had happened and constantly hinted that it was my fault. Sometimes I even thought it was my fault. But my mother refused to believe that, saying it was only an accident, and this caused a rift between my parents. My father never taught me anything else in metalworking, so I had to learn it from books and practice. He only stayed quiet while we worked in the shop. When I was 30, he was killed by a large bear while he was out hunting, leaving me to be the man of the house. I ran the business by myself for about 7 more years, but my mother eventually had to sell it because it wasn’t keeping food on the table with only my skills to go on and not enough money to afford help. I soon left after that, saying my mother would be able to live on her own without me taking a big bite out of the income. I’ve been on my own ever since, fighting away at least one thief a day for over a year now. I read as many books as I could find on swordsmanship, practicing every day so I could fend off thieves.

Possessions
Isurian steel bonus
Clothing:
-Thick black tightly woven cotton pants tucked into brown -boots that come up just below the knee
-White cotton shirt worn under Night Leather armor, a thick cotton, sleeved and hooded, deep crimson cloak
-Very long black cotton sash that wraps around the cloak from the left shoulder down to the right waist and around the waist, tucked under the hood of the cloak, and holds the longsword scabbard in place on my back, tilted left along the sash, and the backpack lays over that.
-The shield is hardly ever used, normally tucked between his sword and his backpack on his back.
Family Heirloom: centuries-old buckler shield that has been restored time and again, with so many pieces replaced, it’s as if the entire family’s souls are a part of it. Being of Pitriusian origin, it just may be. One would think it would appear as something pieced together like a puzzle, but it is actually very well restored, despite its age. It is made of an alloy of Isurian steel and normal steel so it does not rust as easily, especially with the constant care it goes under. Valued at 50 gm.
Weapon: Longsword (Isurian steel) sheathed in a scabbard that hooks onto the sash.
Other:
-1 Waterskin
-1 Backpack which contains:
--1 Set of Toiletries (comb, brush, razor, soap)
--Food for a week
--1 eating knife
--Flint & Steel
-510 gm (after cost of longsword, scabbard, night leather, and sold house)
