Once outside, Aello turned her head from left to right. Her chest was rising and falling rapidly, and her throat felt dry, which caused her to struggle to draw in breath all the more. Her heart was pounding in her chest. "It'll be best if we split up... draw the masses away from each other... and it's much easier to slip away when there's only one body to hide." A small smile crept across the girl's lips, as she spoke once more. "Be careful Clyde. You won't have me to save your sorry hide again anytime soon," she called over her shoulder as she ran down the street. After passing three separate alleyways, Aello darted down one on her left, and then wove through the city streets into a quiet quarter, far away from the Silver Silver, a place where she knew no one would bother to go. No one would bother to look. |
