The Diamond of Kalea is located on Kalea's extreme west coast and called as such because its completely made of a crystalline substance called Skyglass. Home of the Alvina of the Stars, cultural mecca of knowledge seekers, and rife with Ethaefal, this remote city shimmers with its own unique light.

Introducing the Basilika! (Open for All)

The arches of the rounded building buzzed with LIFE.

Or that's how many felt beholding the Basilika again. Many of the younger residents were only children when it closed, the children of today yet to be born. When the Dawn House closed the doors for what they thought would be the last time, no eyes were more turned by the site than those of Skara and Mattias.

Mattias let a smile warm his face with a stream of sunlight, pulling wrinkles aaway from his old face the same way they had worked so hard to pull the dust and dirt and shadows back away from the Basilika. It had looked like a graveyard, abandoned statues and art was still hanging haphazardly and in disrepair when Mattias finally set foot back down in the antechamber.

But it was all better now.

Skara had brought him back with the change of leadership, but it took so long to be able to gt their life back, bring back the Basilika to the people. He almost thought it his Basilika, but knew that to be false. It was never his. The Basilika was everyone's.

Already voices filled the room. It was slow, almost somber, but booths were being filled and the music of debates and ideas were running abound. The daylight brought it all back, the memories as well as the REALITIES of the Basilika. It was wonderful.

Mattias wandered to a booth where a man was attracted a crowd, barking his questions to each passerby. The serene man had dark hair that contrasted sharply to his yellow robes, like the sun was shining from his breast. Everyone who walked by would hear the same thing, the same repeated question over and over. "What do you think of our new governing system?" Mattias was also curious who would answer. For now, Mattias watched.
