Nader Isikais Rozat aka “Isikais” Basic Information Race: Nuit (Originally Eypharian) Birthday & Age: 92nd of Winter 6520 BV, 7030 yrs old Gender: Male Physical Description While physical form is tentative at best for a Nuit, Isikais is even more protean than most. A practitioner of morphing, Isikais is quite fond of assuming new bodies whenever the opportunity presents itself and the whim takes him. At present, and for some time now, he has occupied a series of bodies with similar traits. Young, physically fit male humans, with intense sculpted features: bodies that present both the benefit of longevity, and ample resilient material for the practice of morphing. Character Concept Inquisitive and emotionally stunted, Isikais is first and foremost a student of the mortal state. Having spent centuries among the undead in quiet solitude, he lacks the instincts of a social creature. Despite this failing, however, his new effort in reintegration has spurred him to learn again the art of human interaction. Because of this he is likely to search out extreme situations, not from bravado or a thrill seeking, but from an intellectual desire to understand the living again. Born of Eypharian heritage, Isikais still bears an arrogance regarding other races, viewing them with mildly condescending intrigue and entertained curiosity. Character History Eypharian myth and legend tell of a Nader Isikais in the Ancient Eyktol near Ahnatep. A farmer, and loyal worshiper of Makutsi, his love was taken from him by an envious young man whose father held great influence with the Alahean Empire. According to the stories the two later ran off to live happily together. Myth and legend are only the stylized and gilded images of ages long gone. In truth, Isikais fell to ruin when his love was taken. Seduced into believing that his love had abandoned him, he struck a deal with a powerful mage to take the place of his love's husband. Using the opportunity to take Isikais' body, the mage then convinced Isikais love to run off with him, leaving Isikais a Nuit in the form of his most hated enemy, and again without his love. For centuries the creature haunted the cities and wilds of the Eyktol, before wandering out across the Alahean and Suvan empires often taking the place of people he met, before decay or mistake betrayed his true nature. With the coming of the Valterrian Isikais fled to the strongholds of Alahean cities. There he was introduced to "Project Forever" on the island of Sahova. For over five centuries Isikais has lived on the island in service of the Nuit there. With civilization beginning again to congeal into ordered bastions, Isikais has again begun to wander in search of new experiences to keep the memories at bay.
