511 Winter 58
Giving out a severe shiver Solicah quickly pushed shut the door to the harsh winter behind his cousin as she enter behind him. He silently wished he would have had another glass of wine to warm himself before leaving the tavern, but knew he would need to be at his best the following few days. If all went according to plan, which was rarely the case, then there would be plenty of time and money to drink with later.
Shedding his warm garb, he sensed a slight discomfort among the lantern lit room. Though sturdier than what the Drykas were used to Solicah would still take a tent in the warm south over a hole in the rocks of Riverfall any day, but he wasn't one to get caught complaining about such things. Instead he focused his energy on something he could help, the origin of the room's discomfort.
Standing there in only a light vest, and the bottom layer of pants he stopped what he was doing int he near darkness, put his hands on his hips, and looked straight at his cousin who was still hanging her outer layers up. He would just stand and wait for her to start talking, possibly accuse her of having something on her mind if she needed prompting. He knew that neither of them would be getting any sleep till whatever was on her mind got out in the open. Solicah naturally assumed it had something to do with the trip the following day, and thus concerned both of them.
