Hiding in zeltiva

Dormientes jumped from the ground to a close tree branch. The afternoon sun shining on her black and brown fur, through the spaces between the tree leaves. She settled her self on the branch feeling the warmth against her side. She stretched, then put her tail around her self. She kept her ears up to listen for anyone coming near her. She jumped up to another branch and looked around with her yellow eyes. She could see past the trees a stand with fruit. Slowly she crept close to the end of the branch. Leaping from each branch she got closer to the stand. Five trees away she stopped. She landed on the ground and behind a tree. Her height began to change. She got taller and she began to have arms and legs. Finally she was in her human form. She stayed in the edge of the woods trying not to to let any one see her. She slid along the edge of the stand now. Crowds passed by her as she tried to blend in. Her black shirt and pants where clean but her boots had some dirt on them. She straightened up and looked around calmly.

Hiding in zeltiva

OOCJust a quick reminder that this needs to be timestamped!

Tallis walked down the pier, winding his way towards the marketplace. He had just finished helping his father unload a cargo ship and he was going to enjoy what free time he had, especially on such a beautiful day. Basking in the spring warmth and losing himself in the sights and sounds, the mage made his way towards a fruit vendor. The aromatic smells of fresh fruit and vegetable broadened the smile on Tallis' face. Almost all produce had to be shipped to Zeltiva so it was rare to see a harvest this fresh. As he slowly strolled by the stall, taking in the sharp scent of citrus, he noticed the woman. Something about her seemed off. Whereas everyone else was moving at a midday shuffle, she seemed to be frozen in time. Tallis watched as she stood there, surveying her surroundings. "Perhaps she's lost," thought the mage, "Or maybe she's looking for something?" Either way, Tallis saw that the calm look on her face held a shadow of something else. Was it fear? He couldn't be sure. But now that his interest was piqued, he felt compelled to act.

"Hello there! You seem to be looking for something? Could I help you?"

Hiding in zeltiva

((yes im sorry I'm new and getting the hang of things))

The girl jumped a bit. She looked up at the mage and forced a smile. She let her hair sort of cover her eyes. Slowly words came out of her mouth.
"y-yes, please. I was looking for some fruit stands, where I could spend the least amount of money" she said a bit shyly. The sun in the sky warmed up her back as she stood still. She saw the cargo he was unpacking. Maybe he had something she could use she thought to her self
"what are you unpacking there?" she asked curiously

"It's just regular cargo," Tallis replied, responding to the girl's question, "There's building materials, and personal deliveries. And there's food, which you have to be careful moving."

In the middle of his explanation, Tallis motioned for the girl to follow him as he made his way down the marketplace. They passed by lines of stalls, booths, and carts filled with a variety of wares ranging from clothing and jewellery to weapons and books. Food was located at the far end of the market, closer to the heart of the city and farther from the docks. Tallis was sure that the girl would be able to find a good meal at a fair price there.

Although he had more questions to ask the girl, Tallis realized he hadn't gotten a name from her. He couldn't blame her though, he had started the conversation and hadn't introduced himself. Quickly making amends, he delivered a curt introduction, "My name's Tallis, by the way. What's yours?"
