Physical Appearance A Vantha by birth and appearance, Anishna is lovely in all the ways a Vantha woman could be. Fuller of figure, with a softer curve to her body, she is still dainty and bright, like a colourful little butterfly that wings its way from petal to petal in a garden of flowers.
Anishna is on the smaller side of her race. She stands at around five feet exactly and weighs 110 pounds. Nimble fingers are fond of running through her long, curly and brilliant hair, while pinkened lips curve up in many different versions of a smile as there are colours in her eyes for her emotions.
Anishna's eyes are usually situated on a deep purple, which for her is a physical representation of her amusement. She is almost always on the verge of laughing at something, nearly anything in even the most tedious of moments. In some way, she can take anything and translate it into something to laugh at. This once caused her problems at home in Avanthal that have yet to be remedied.
In states of different emotions, Anishna's eyes dance from one end of the rainbow to the other, and even reach for colours like glistening gold and hardy bronze when she achieves a difficult emotion. The colours band when her feelings become joined, and at times these patterns of colour become beautiful, yet at others they clash and become hard to look at seriously.
Anishna, a new inhabitant of Alvadas that discovered the underground, has put aside the traditional clothing of her family in Avanthal. Once fond of pelts and warm clothes to keep her insulated, she has come to love layering colourful shawls draped on her body in a form of informal clothing. She loves the colours of the rainbow and shows this in her style, which is eclectic at best. In perfomances of acrobatics and dance, she may lose the unnecessary layers and wrap a gem-coloured cloth around her body instead.
There is a most curious snowflake tattooed upon Anishna's skin. It sits on her right shoulder blade, glistening and glittering as though it were an actual snowflake upon her skin. History Anishna came to take her first breaths among family in Iceglaze Hold. Born as merely Anishna Iceglaze to the former Tessa Snowsong and Iclaris Iceglaze, Anishna was given a good, loving support from a large extended family in both Snowsong and Iceglaze Hold. She was the middle of five children, preceded by two brothers of the names Icladis and Marshes, and followed by a sister and another brother, named Nani and Peris, Anishna enjoyed the freedom presented to her once she had reached an adequate age to be unsupervised, which gave her parents time to tend to her younger siblings and the older siblings were given time to court those they had come to like as they aged.
Anishna found a love of learning in her alone time. From travelers to the frozen city, she gleaned information of cities built beneath mountains and water, cities that moved at random, and cities entombed in castles or surrounded by burning sand, something she had never even heard of before then. Wanderlust seized the girl, but she was not given the opportunity to travel quite yet.
Anishna had to wait, as it had come to that time for her parents to start their selection of suitors for her hand. There were not many, to be sure, for Anishna was one that laughed too often and at things that should not be laughed at, but she was kind and lovely, and so she was not without a courtship or two.
Ultimately, Anishna used the men who presented themselves to her for her approval as providers of the attention all adolescents crave. They gave her shiny baubles to catch her eye, little toys to snag her interest, and one might have captured her heart and erased all thoughts of magic and romance from her had she not found him with another.
Seized by the passion of jealous rage, Anishna attacked the man she could have loved, but she did not manage to kill him or his companion. Instead she fled, and fast. She packed what she could carry, and as the Vantha she had called her family prepared to arrest her once the couple were conscious enough to tell what had happened, she was fleeing the city.
Anishna left behind the name of her Hold, and now when asked what she comes from, she will either not answer the question directly or will say she has no Hold, which brought people to give her No-Hold as a surname, something she adopted quickly.
Anishna has made it to Alvadas, and there she found what she had loved once when she was not so jaded to love. She fell for the city, the tricky walls of the buildings and the maze made out of the streets. She laughs every day there again, simply because either the sky is purple, or the streets are flooded, or even because there are people that fight the wonder of the city and see only frustration where there should be laughter.
Anishna makes her home in the Cubacious Inn.
