Hey Everyone!

I'm going by the name of Taelos and I'm an Isur of the Sultros clan. Don't know much else about my character yet. Still reading up on the lore to see how I should make him fit into this world. I'm an engineering student in real life and I feel that I can relate to the Isur mentality to an extent so this should be fun.

About a year ago I was hit by a car while on campus and suffered some injuries that forced me to take some time off from college. I've just recently gotten to the point where I can do stuff again and I thought a good text based roleplay forum would be a good thing to join to get me thinking again. I googled best roleplay forums and found this site.

I enjoy more cerebral and character developing roleplay. I'm not so fond of roleplay that gets bogged down in a lot of math and fighting. This is why I've gotten so aggravated with DnD and other games like it.

I've played DnD in the past and been on a few other roleplay sites so I have some experience but nothing with this much detail or lore. Feel free to correct me if I do something that's off or just doesn't make sense in this world.

Hey Taelos! Welcome to Mizahar. I think you've come to the right place. At Mizahar, we like to focus on story and character development. We do have technical details like skills and such, to help keep the game balanced, but there's no real math involved besides some minor addition.

Hey there, Taelos. I'm new to Mizahar as well, but from what I have done already, the RPing is stimulating, the people are literate, and there is much room for characters to grow and develop. I, too, relish cerebral and developmental roleplay. I do hope that Mizahar can provide this for you!

Also, you do not have to worry about Munchkins getting in your way here anymore. The environment is not conducive to Munchkins, so go in with a deep, flavorful character!

Welcome to Mizahar, too, Taelos. Sorry to hear about your car accident. =\ Well, seems like you've been quite welcomed. That's good. ^^ I look forward to meeting your Isur sometime. I think it's awesome when people use real life knowledge to flesh out their characters. Before I go, here's something for ya:

Well, first thing you should check out is:
--- The Starting Guide
--- Rules (highlights include: 1 character per account, 5 accounts allowed, and your characters cannot interact with each other in any way or form, or benefit from each other.)
--- Terms of Use
--- Creative Manifesto (This is super important! We're all about originality and not doing the same old cliches over and over and over and... well you get the idea.)

Followed by these links:
--- Starting Package (very important, it gives you your initial set of skill points and gear)
--- Races (There are 20 totally original races here, so simply playing to a racial norm means your character will be unique!)
--- Skill List (keep in mind that most of these are not fully developed, and some skills are not listed)
--- Magic List (magic is cool, but it does have its consequences-- don't ignore them)

You should post your character in a thread here. It's okay to post it even if it's a Work-In-Progress (WIP):
