Built high in the massive branches of Taldera's bloodwood forest, The Spires is a city crafted by the peaceful and scholarly Jamoura. Considered a haven for scholars and sages Mizahar-wide, The Spires is a mecca of philosophy and science that draws people from far and wide with its promise of deeper thinking and higher reasoning.

Lost In That Silver Haze.

And so it was that our self proclaimed hero Eclair found herself traversing the lush forests of the Spires, not exactly the warm sands she was aclimated to but she wasnt one to whine. Despite being awesome; unfortunately for the Dhani, she was no master of traverse. Map held sideways perhaps upside down she followed with a certain level of uncertainty. One foot infront of the other, for days for months for years if asked she would never admit to being lost. Hell to the no, she was like a wizard she would arive precisely when she means to even if she was a day late and a dollar short.

Lost in that haze, she went down down down and the flames went higher. Bewildered that she had somehow managed to go from point A which was Ahntep to Z which was this nut job jungle of misery and dismay.
But then add a few flagons of mead to a wild night on the town then awaken in a forest naked tied to a tree slathered in honey next to a french tickler and you might think some things, some really unpleasant things unless you were smart and realized that she was walking and couldnt possibly have been tied to a tree.

Truthfuly her journey had been less exciting, a drunken journey maybe into the desert for glory and booty but no booty and no glory and no spoils meant no brew.
Either way it had been a wham bam thank you mam journey, a fruitless endeavor.

Perhaps the critters were crunchy or lip smacking tastey, furry friends that would not cry or beg for mercy before being nom nomed to the death god; a new meaning to snap, crackle pop.
A friend would be nice but really she couldnt bro talk with her food, that just wasnt the Dhani way. If she had friends what would they say if they caught her playing with her food? Not terribly nice things, not likely at all.

She smiled wickedly with a passionate level of malevolant glee, a particular kind of viciousness or ferocity that was as cruel as it was twisted and sick. The kind of pleasure that comes from the pain and suffering of others, they had a word for that. Schadenfreude to which she was its personification.

Minx, in her panther form, lounged on a tree branch, she seen a Dhani approaching her. She appeared to be holding a map of sorts. Minx flicked her tail in half amusement. As the Dhani was almost under her, Minx pulled her front paws under her chest and wiggled her hindquarters. She leapt off the branch and twisted, forming into her human just before hitting the ground. She landed in a squatting position, her fair skin glistened in the light, her black hair swirled around as she stood, wiping her hands off on eachother. Her striking hazel eyes bore into the Dhani, "Hi there." she threw a smirk onto her pale lips and flicked her hair back. She leaned on her right leg, her tight leather pants moved easily as her right leg was straight, and her left outstretched to the left.
Her arms folded neatly under her breasts as she stood, she wasn't usually an interactive one, but, this Dhani fancied her eye, she seemed like a.. not-so-nice person, such as herself.

What a fanciful notion
That a not so nice world
Would make not so nice people
What a load of bologna, sweet sweet delicious bologna.

The Dhani, stared blankly at her map moving a little to the right then a little to the left. Before putting the map away and letting her right hand fall to her hip letting it rest on her rapier. The viper was hellishly fast, and that particular sword was the fastest devised. It was a winning combination like peanut butter and jelly, but was it peanut butter jelly time? That was the real question

Lost in tangerine forests made of marmalade skies, she saw in heat swirls of colors filled of reds and orange. A world of taste, vibration and heat, what a meaty morsel that stood before her. If only she had been a snake of a much larger variety, it was such a curse to be such a small fry. A fierce appetite with an unhingable jaw to match, but unfortunately it was inappropriate to bite more then one could chew bad table manners and all that.

She would have to approach this like an everything burrito, how does one manage such a majestic little dish. If you did not handle it in just the right way, it was liable to make a mess of things if you caught her drift.

Minxs smells lofted capriciously in the air, and as if a vampire besmirched with blood lust she had to pull away relying on inner strength to resist temptation even if it gently lulled her to be ever so naughty. Eclair swore to keep her composure, even if thoughts lingered on licking the kitty just a little. Just a nibble, the notion salivated her palat.

A rumbly in her tummy

When striking Hazel eyes met Red serpentine eyes, there was a level of fixation and calculation. Minx would see a hunger in those scarlet eyes but of what?

The Fixation was Obvious
The Calculation was how much energy had Minx consumed during her transformation infront of her? The Dhani was well aware that those practices were taxing because she to could change form. How much of a struggle would be present, was the risk vs the reward? A full belly was a treasure not lightly ignored, it was worth its weight in gold.

Eclair's twisted smile grew a little larger, as her tongue swirled around her ruby red lips in full rotation but one time.

"That was sssssuch an interessssting trick"

She looked around hesitantly, perhaps in some belief a group of Dhani might walk past and poke fun at her. She was after all breaking the cardinal rule of bro talking early morning munchins.

Eclair couldnt bare the thought of losing her street credibility in the nest.

Minx could see Eclair contemplating everything. Her red eyes had flickered over Minx, and had that deep look of hunger. Minx assumed the Dhani was hungry, yet, the serpine was so small.. so.. delicate. Yet, Minx knew size was nothing.
Minx's nose caught everything, the serpentine smell, the luxurious tang of blood. It was almost too much. Just through her travels, Minx knew the Dhani had only one of three snakes, this one struck her as a Viper. The speed, the fact that she hadn't attacked yet. Her hazel eyes flashed as she studied the Dhani, her delicate frame, her piercing red eyes. Minx flicked her hair over her shoulder, as the Dhani spoke, she had a good assumption that the serpine was trying to lure her into an easy meal, she shrugged and answered,
"Thanks, hardly takes any energy at all." Minx added the last part as a warning, she knew that look in those red eyes, she knew that the Dhani would attack at any sign of weakness. Minx nod her head towards the map Eclair held,
"Where you headin'." She asked, the words flowing smoothly out of her mouth as she asked the genuine question. Her frame was fit perfectly into her leather gear, her black cloak billowed behind her, the hood was on her back, ready to be flipped up when she went anywhere where she couldn't transform, or where she felt unsafe. Her black boots were laced up to about her knee, the bottoms were slightly rounded, perfect for stealth. She wore no glloves, yet a pair dangled from her waist band. Her dagger with Minx carved in the blade also hung, almost limp, from the waist band.

Curioussssssittyyyy killed the cat, BUT iff you musssst know. The Ssssspires were ssssstruck by a great ssssstorm, many placccccccesssssss lay in ruin. There are great treassssuresssss for thossssse bold enough to look.

Quirking an eyebrow at minx, the Dhani was starting to wonder about a new and terrible venture. As cold calculating eyes began to re-evaluate the kelvics value, two people exploring were better then one an extra hand to plant a knife in the back of an adversary was a good thing. Of course that left a resonating question, the viper was here to pillage and steal. And there were certain folks believe it or not that might have a problem with that. This was the kind of kick ass black op that required ones hands to get dirty, the kind of grime that no amount of sudsy bath water could wash away.

Iffff your interessted child, you could come with me.
Though you may ssseeee thingsssss you might regret, but I would kill for you ifffff you would kill for me.

An invitation was sent to Minx, but the Jaguar needed to think this one through. The spire was a place of peace, the Jamoura were thunderously strong but to some degree benevolent. The Dhani wanted to pillage and steal and possibly kill those that would say otherwise.

The Dhani pointed in the direction of the Spires, and began to walk.

This was madness

Minx tossed her hair and leaned slightly closer to the snake like woman, Minx's scent glands were overwhelmed with the serpentine smell, Minx smiled a wicked smile and twirled a piece of hair around her thin, powerful finger.

"Don't worry about me, I won't stab in the back." Minx winked to the Dhani and sized her up for the first time. Minx was right with her first investigation, don't judge by size. This Dhani looked powerful, even through her dainty figure. Minx smiled as the Dhani had spoken of the danger.

Minx stretched out her fingers, and extended her arms into the air, before dropping her hand quickly to her dagger, removing it from its sheath, and lodging it in the tree trunk next to her,

"Theres nothing I regret seeing." Minx promised, with a near hiss in her voice. She shook her head, letting her hair fall more naturally upon her shoulders, "Shall we be off?" Minx leapt and grabbed a tree trunk, she flicked the dagger into its sheath with a flash, before flipping backwards, quickly transforming into her Panther form, she gave the Dhani a flash of excitement, adventure, trust, in her piercing hazel eyes. Minx extended her front right leg, offering the Dhani her back, she was large, the Dhani... not so much. Besides, it would be quicker, and-- Minx flexed her muscles-- they could travel longer distances.

Minx flashed her eyes towards the Dhani again.

She was right.

This. Is. Madness.

Hello Adventurers!

I am locking this thread permanently, as well as any of your other threads in the area Eclair. You clearly have not read a single thing about The Spires aside from a very basic description. This is not the kind of writing we support. You must play within a proper setting when you are in the setting of The Spires, and there are too many errors with your posts to bother listing each of them off. I have told you many times to read the lore, read The Spires Forums, and you have clearly shown that you have not, and have even admitted not doing so. As such, you are being removed from The Spires and are not welcome back, on any character. Please take your character elsewhere.

Minx, this was not directed at you, but please use this as an example of what not to do. I strongly advise reading The Spires as well as the Calendar and the OOC Thread. If you need any assistance, please feel free to message me, and we will get you rolling in the proper direction. Also please post within the Character Registry.

Thank you, and have a lovely day.
