Isudas opened the door of Black Tar's Alchemical Services, a grim look on his face. He had just been informed by the man behind the counter that, at far as he knew, they sold no poisons made specifically to damage the undead. This was amazingly disappointing, as Isudas had been told they carried such a huge range of potions and poisons you could be killed in 10 different ways just by touching the bottles on the shelves. This was, apparently, a huge exaggeration of the services offered.

The search for ways to undo the Daek-Nuit was rapidly showing itself to be a total waste of time, and Isudas was starting to become more and more frantic to find a way to reverse what had been done to him. He had, however, during his brief fascination with Morphing, heard of another branch of magic that might be able to help him accomplish his goal. Supposedly it could change the very nature of a thing, provided you had enough Djed and plenty of time. Those were both things that Isudas had in rather large amounts, so it didn't seem out of the question that he might be able to change himself from dead to alive.

Isudas was so preoccupied with these thoughts that he walked directly into a stunning young woman who had been just about to walk inside the shop. "Why don't you look where you walk next time, huh? Just because you're pretty doesn't mean you're allowed to be blind."

[Black Tar's Alchemical Services] Amani and a zombie (Amani)

Amani slowly made her way to the alchemical store, not in any particular hurry to get there. This was not a task that she particularly relished, only doing so because Raenfae had asked her to go. He wanted her to see if there were any new products out, things that may have been useful to his own research and if she could get any kind of information on them. Amani had her own ways of getting information, and the man knew her from numerous trips that she had made alone and a few with Raenfae. The only problem was the smell. She detested the smell of the bubbling brews and ingredients. They made her ill, and this put her in a decidedly foul mood as she walked along the cobbled streets.

The building soon came into sight and she was too busy picking up her skirts to avoid a puddle to notice the man that stepped out of the shop, causing her to run straight into him. A small squeak left her lips and she stumbled back a step or two, looking up at the man who she had walked into. The startled expression immediately turned into a frown, her gray eyes flashing in displeasure at the stranger's words. She sniffed haughtily and smoothed her dress, tossing her hair before she looked back up at him.

"It seems that Ravok is filled with all kinds of men. Some who are worth noticing, and others who aren't,"she said icily, her retort smooth and practiced. She didn't have time for men who were disrespectful or ones who got a bit miffed when their clothes got rumpled. She took a closer look at him, her eyes narrowing as she took in his features. He was.....repulsive. A face that was once handsome now had the grayish tinge of the dead, his skin peeling and falling away in some places. He was a Nuit, that much was obvious, and the realization made her wrinkle her nose and brush her dress even more, not wanting any of his foulness tarnishing her perfect image. What a day.

"It seemes chivalry is quite dead wouldn't you say?"she said with a sneer, moving around him to enter the shop. He was beneath her notice.
