Day 35, Summer 512 The ebb and flow of the tide made for a soothing lullaby as Aven Longknife relaxed by the shores of the Suvan Sea. It was a strange, though idyllic, situation and very relaxing. He had left Syliras only a couple days ago, traveling along the coastline with all that remained of his worldly possessions. He had started a fire to cook a fish he had caught and lay back as the fish cooked. At a distance he could see a boat farther out. He sat up and waved at it. However, there was no response, which led Aven to believe they had not seen him. So he paid it little attention. Probably fishermen trying to get a late night catch or something. However, as the minutes dragged on, the boat seemed to be getting closer and closer to him. |
