Timestamp: 60th of Spring 512 AV Two days ago Louise had arrived to the island, carrying nothing but what she owned and the stories she had heard about the city of Mura. Truthfully she came to the island with no concrete purpose. Nothing pulled her to survive the hellish boat ride. No Gods had summoned her here or anything of that sort. In fact, she was probably one of the few on the boat trip over that had very little purpose here on the island. But she heard the stories. Listened to the rumors here and there. She wanted to see Mura for herself. Witness its culture and taste it’s life for her own. She had spent a good portion of her day wandering about Mura, watching as the natives to the island went about their daily activities. She had stayed away from any sort of conversation, simply observing when appropriate and moving onwards. So far it had been an interesting day simply wandering about Mura. Though Louise was quite surprised when she found that her wandering had taken her to what looked like a large garden. Louise came to a halt, staring at the large garden. A sense of peace and openness almost seemed to flow from the garden before her. Curious about what she had stumbled across Louise ventured into the garden. The sounds of smooth running water and calming chirps of birds in the distance felt so very…different than what Louise was used to. It was almost as if she were back… Spotting an impressive dark wooden bridge Louise walked onto the bridge and stopped at the very top. Leaning against the wooden railing, Louise looked down at the water flowing calmly beneath the bridge. The urge to simply stare into the water and waltz down memory lane was so very tempting. Louise had no idea why, though. Was it the peacefulness that made Louise want to just let everything go? Drop down her barriers. She swallowed the urge but didn’t move from her spot. She quite liked standing on this bridge. This was a fantastic discovery. |
