Sigh.. Ana stared into Wrenmaes eyes, dreamily, then depressedly with a romantic under tone. Memorys of Sunberth flooded in, from the alleyway to the first meeting with Weaver as well as the many times she and Shroud would bicker back and forth. Insults here and there, a cuff to the head many times as well as a pommel to the body. Then to the time they had gotten stuck within the temple, she sighed again, it seemed so long ago now.. So long. It was unbelievable that it had only been at the beginning of the season since then, their relationship seemed to be turning for the better as a partially clear understanding came between the thief and the murderer as well as the hidden story teller. Wren.. What are you doing now? Ana wondered to herself, blankly staring at the images before her eyes. Shrouds first smile towards her in an approving way laced itself into her mind, she felt a sort of achievement well up inside, only to rest on the last night.. "Anasol! Anasol! Heyoooo!"

Jakobi waved his hand in front of Anas face, she had begun to stare into space rather deeply. Her thoughts had taken over suddenly as the horsewhisperer had been explaining things to her, she missed everything he had said and ended up forgetting completely what they were abou to be doing. Snapping her attention back to reality and out of her daydream "Anasol, pay attention! Don't go all goofy on me now," he scolded her as he gripped her shoulder and shook lightly. Blinking, she let her head wobble back and forth heavily, seeming to sigh for the third time already "s-sorry, was just thinking," she replied to him in hopes that would be acceptable. It was not.

"Doesn't matter, did you catch anything I said?" He questioned her accusingly.

Shaking her head and frowning, looking to the ground at the buckets as well as the wooden pole "no, I'm sorry" what, wait, how did she get into the horse yard again? Ana remembered vaguely what lead to her arriving at Jakobi's yard, sleeplessness, there had been nothing akin to rest in the last few nights. Even though she tried, Ana was actually trying to sleep on her own accord for once but it prooved to be impossible lately. There wasn't that familliar heat source next to her, the rise and fall of a certain assholes chest wasn't there either. Making it incredibly hard to.. To.. For some reason hard to sleep any more.

With an exhasperated groan, Jakobi spoke up with a tone of annoyance "its bath time for the horses," he gestured to the buckets on the ground laying uselessly "I want you to go fetch water enough for each horse to be bathed thouroughly" he patted her butt as if to give her a push to move "get a' going to the lake lil' missy!"

Ana jumped fowards a bit in suprise, blushing and glaring at him "how many buckets worth?" She questioned, now irritated with the touch. No one should touch her like that.

"Probably about 5-8 buckets worth, maybe more" he stated lightly, on the tip of his tounge "we have alot of horses to wash Anasol, and no cheating them out of their baths with little water to make work easier for yourself" He grinned and began to usher her to the buckets.

The small thief wanted to protest, but could not as she took a big breath and turned each onto the pole and set the stick on her shoulder with the empty buckets clanging against her shoulders onto each other. Waving him off with a puffed out lip, she let her horse bitten hand lay at her side and the other to hold the pole as she began to make her way to the lake for water. For once in Ana's life, she had a very good reason to despise water as well as be tremendously afraid of it. This would take work.. Or it could be easy, "this isn't a problem.." Ana mumbled quietly to herself.

(Went to the lake in this post.. >.>)

Sour faced, droopy eyed, Ana couldn't help but feel a little annoyed at the crystal clear and cold waters of the lake, taking the buckets off the pole and setting each down next to said stick. Irritation seeped through her blood, a deep, loathing hatred for the liquid made her want to run screaming from it, for whatever reason Ana could not explain to herself. Flickers of memory passed her eyes, flitted and were gone, time had worn the past away to a disintegrating husk just slowly rebuilding itself. Blue water, and strong sea salt filled her eyes, her nose, no, she shook her head feeling the panick rise up faster than it had before. The small thief had a job to do, letting a phobia get in the way of it wasn't an amazing representation of the strong Crimson Edge, she had an image to keep up, water wasn't going to ruin it in a few fell swoops of wind across the reflective surface, licking at the edges of the sandbar. Splashes and swirls would not deter her from aproaching, not today, later they could, but not right at this very moment.

With a sigh, she resigned herself to the idea; taking her boots off and rolling the edges of her overly large pant legs up to hug her thighs before lifting one of the buckets and aproaching the watery lake with the utmost essence of paranoia, dipping said container into the water and quickly, hurridly backing away to set it next to the awaiting to be filled bucket. The contents sloshed about in the container, from one side, to the next, a droplet or two sprung up from its body and landed on her chin, the bucket, held to her chest. The stray liquid made her cringe as she then took the empty bucket and left the filled one in its place, she repeated the same process of tip toeing close, letting the water swish, swash, swish and another swash to pool around her pink, dirt encrusted toes, the nails of said toes appeared to have needed filing down, they were chipping, far too long for the normal standards of toe health care. But Ana didn't mind, she didn't care, the water was what had her attention.

Goosebumps travelled up her legs, bringing up little pock marks, nubs, and the blond hairs along her legs to rise ever so lightly in protest. Taking a deep breath, she was this far already, she could do another twenty more if she needed to.. Though she hoped this wouldn't be the case as she dipped the empty bucket into the water and carried it away, the plip, plop, plip and squishy sand gave way to her feet, leaving awful footprints in her wake. What was she to do now? Ana wondered as she put her boots back on and unrolled her pant legs, eyes darting from the pole to the buckets, it took her a few moments to realize how she was going to carry each back to the paddock. Gritting her teeth into a mock smile, how wonderful, what an amazing and ingenious idea this was. What a way to invite backpain into ones life, her thoughts went even darker as she put each buckets handles at the ends of the pole. With a grunt, she was suprised by how much water could weigh when put on ones shoulders, it took her a few trys to achieve any sort of balance and even then she was wobbling a bit.

Any creature, crittur, sentient being or god watching now was certainly having a quiet chuckle to themselves at the silly girl, carrying water buckets the wrong way, they were far too close to her body and leaned against her, tilting ever so downwards to allow water to splish, splosh, and seep out and slowly cease to have any substancial content. When she took a step, she began to fumble to the right, then the left, and then another right, sounds of suprise escaped her lips as she tryed to regain balance once again, hopping on the fronts of her feet and standing stalk still as her body began to fall backwards.

Bam, SPLASH.

There she fell, the buckets now emptied of their contents upon the young girl in a most embarrising way "why does the ground keep pulling me towards it?" Ana muttered, sarcasm laying thick in her voice like a torrential rain of irritation and a hurt pride managed to work itself through her darkened features.

Groaning, she hefted herself upright and shook her arms a bit to get the water off, completely flustered over the situation. The water was cold, and now she would have to get 2 more buckets worth, she grumbled, glaring at the thought. With a sigh she got back up and stalked back to the lakes water, the buckets clanging against eachother irritatingly. There she would repeat the process of entering the water, retrieving it then quickly skittering away from it in her fear of the clear liquid. Twice she had to commit to this now, and when she had brought the pole to be pushed through the buckets handles Ana contemplated how she was going to get enough of these containers of terror back to the paddock without soaking herself even more. Maybe if she spread the buckets farther apart? It was worth a try, so she did so, bending down, under the pole and hefting up; gripping the pole with one hand and the other going to gently push one of the buckets away from her. Arms shaking as she did so, such weights on her shoulders made it hard to be confident in her work.

When she had done the same to the other bucket, the small thief took a step fowards, she began to walk, slowly, surely, the buckets swayed to and throw, the contents quietly sloshing around their prisons. Taking a gulp of air, her eyes furrowed in a concentration that could kill as she began to move towards the paddock once again. Why didn't they just put the paddock next to the lake, it just didn't make sense to the small thief.. Now she had to walk, trudge her way through multiple times back and forth to make sure the horses could be bathed. Jobs, why didn't she have one back in Sunberth again? Ana wondered, then muttered sarcastically under her breath "oh yeah, because I fail at manual labor.. tch" she groaned, then let a curtly cut chuckle out as she felt her balance beginnining to be thrown off again. Too comfortable with the pace, she had sped up and now a bucket was beginning to slide off the handle.. With a yelp, she tried to get the bucket to slide back her way, causing the other bucket to slide away from her. Oh no! Ana panicked, she leaned the opposite way of the other bucket, stuck in an awful predicament, she had to stop moving fowards.

So she did, focusing on getting the balance of the buckets of water back. Though most of the water had begun to dribble out of the buckets threateningly, warning her she should be more careful lest she'd have to do more unessecary work in one day. Sighing as she recaught her balance, hands shaking ever so lightly from the ammount of pressure she was squeezing onto the wooden pole with her nervousness. Again she carried on, taking her time, slowly, yet.. With a sense of urgency, she wanted to get this done and over with. Ana didn't want to have to continue going all the way back and again, more than necessary her mind called out to her. When she arrived back at the paddock, Jakobi seemed to be waiting for her, a smug smile on his face, arms crossed as he grinned at her "looks like you're having a bit of trouble Anasol," he seemed to joke lightly at her, not with her, causing Ana to raise and eyebrow at him and then her appearence. Wet. Her clothes were sticking to her body, good thing she had decided to not wear her cloak to the lake, having of left it in the paddock with her tools.

Hints of irritation coursed through her tone of voice "just a bit.." she inhaled, red faced already, exhaled, this shouldn't be so much work for her "just getting a bath as well," she joked back, more so at herself but in a way so that it didn't seem to be so bad..

Jakobi let out a chuckle "not paying you to bathe Anasol," his voice was still joking but it acted as a worded dagger to her mind.

She looked at him, frowning as she didn't take that as a joke, grimacing and then to the buckets, her shoulders were already beginning to ache from the distance of carrying such heavy items. Kneeling down, she let the buckets rest on the ground with small thuds, and evident sloshes of water, sighing, she rubbed her cheek then her forehead and then to stop at her mouth as she exhaled tiredly. More buckets would be needed, that was sure, she glanced at him then the horses "do we wash them, one bucket at a time?" Ana inquired somewhat hopefully, she didn't want to have to go back right away.
