QuestionDo I need to roleplay Summer putting her strider in the stables? really nervous about messing this up, I'm seriously out of practice lol. Thanks for any help in advance 12th day of Summer, 512AV Summer had put Kivas in the city stables, and paid for her feed and board for the next week before moving on. She'd followed the main path through the city, green eyes studying her surroundings curiously only slightly intimidated by the size of the place. Labour Aid building was behind her, directly in front of the main gates, and Summer knew logically that she should probably head there, but for now she just let herself indulge in exploring this new place. She'd never been to Riverfall before, despite the number of times her pavilion had passed within easy distance, she like a child she was mesmerised. As she walked, Summer passed a smithy and the tearooms. Her eyes moved fluidly from the buildings surrounding her, to the map in her hands, trying to memories watch she saw and match it to the little squares on her scroll. She went passed beautiful looking apartments and almost entered the zoo, but forced herself to keep walking, promising a visit another day. The council offices she made particular note of but Summer kept walking, passing more buildings until she found herself in a small quiet area, filled with greenery and swooping birds. A quick glance at her map found that she had made her way to Rookery Park, and the young woman moved to one of the stone benches. This place was calm, a good place to think and get some idea of where she'd found herself. As Summer sat she watched the silk gulls fly around easily, and watched the interactions of the Akalak as they passed through. Flicking her blond hair out of her face from where the wind had blow it, Summer sighed softly. She knew there was plenty she could be doing, should be doing. She should be finding a room for herself, speaking to people about work or training, looking for somewhere to practice her bastard sword skills... but this was the first time in a long time that she wasn't beholden to anybody else, and just for several long and quiet moments, Summer wanted to savour that taste of freedom. Shutting her eyes, she let herself relax into the stone bench and a soft smile fluttered over her features as she soaked up the crisp sea wind, and the smell of salt, with the cries of the silk gulls echoing in her ears. |
