Considered one of the most mysterious cities in Mizahar, Alvadas is called The City of Illusions. It is the home of Ionu and the notorious Inverted. This city sits on one of the main crossroads through The Region of Kalea.

"Never mind then. Guess it doesn't seem like my kind of place." Blizzard finished the sentence with a light soft laugh. The image of a shaking mountain and a giant eagle scooping Blizzard up filled her head. He spoke of giant talons and a large beak then advised her never to fight the eagles which only caused more images to flop into her head. Filled with gore and violence. A giant eagle filled her thoughts and she saw herself attempting to flee with no success from the raptor's grasp. They were tumbling towards the shaking and crumbling ground, with Blizzard biting, kicking and clawing at the bird as it continuously pecked her. The extreme heat made it worse and the humidity grew worse as they neared the ground. Snap out of it. Blizzard found herself daydreaming and drifting of into the distance not playing a bit of attention to Shyam.
Shaking her head, she soon turned her attention back to him, hoping he didn't notice and unusual facial expressions she might have made. "I wish Kelvics could do that with their bondmate. That way it wouldn't be hard to communicate. And I wish I spoke Nari so it'd be easier on you, but alas, I only know Common and Vani," she faintly smiled then looked at a nearby candle watching the small flame dance around the wick in fascination that seemed to show her or anyone who looked close enough a different world of different variants of orange, red, yellow, and even a small portion of blue.
"Sorry. My mind seems to be wandering around a lot tonight. I've been more tired than usual. Maybe because I haven't rested easy in a while?" With a small breath she leaned back in the chair, restoring her proper posture. I was really happy and now I'm tired? Maybe it's this quiet atmosphere rubbing off on me. She rolled back her shoulders then rested her heavy head on her hand, her eye lids growing heavy as her long eyelashes blinked.

Shyam laughed slightly at her response. He hadn't made friends outside of Wind reach before and her reaction was quite amusing to be honest. But after that she seemed to turn slightly pale and we was worried he may have told her too much. He ate his food slowly while thinking about her reaction. Nothing I can do now. I should take her there and remove any negative preconceived notions she may have developed.
I do not mind. I understand and is enough. No worries. He finished off the pork and he sat back in his chair with his wine, and mulled over what he should do now. I should probably do something now. I did not get to do research today but I found someone who could help me out with the few things I need. But I need books and so far I haven't seen any shops that sell them. I hope that I find something. Maybe I should go to this crazy gods temple. I should probably be able to find some knowledge there. God knows even insanity contains something that could be useful.
He sensed that midnight was just around the corner and he knew that midnight was the most dangerous time of the day. He took the one last swallow of the wine, finishing it off and he waited for the waitress, to come. It seems like the young lady is tired as well. It would be best to return now and let her rest. I guess putting up with the headache is something that I have to get used to.
Would you like t return to the Cave. It is late and it would seem that you are tired. Can I pay? While waiting he reached into his bag for some coins. |

Shyam chuckled slightly. It seems like the young lady does not like being in someone's debt. Yet again who liked owing someone something. He filed away the information just incase it could be useful in the future. He enjoyed watching her from behind she had a lovely silhouette, and a great figure. Definitely something to savor. He made sure his facial features were clear apart from a slight smile before going to her, just incase she could sense what he was thinking
He stood up and stretched. Picking up the sword that was leaning against the table, he proceeded to tie it to his waist first, then to tie the strap at his thigh. Reaching for the Katinu that was draped across the back of his chair, he put it on and tied the knot at his throat. He shifted slightly while inside it getting comfortable before he followed the lovely female Kelvic. He ignored the other people in the restaurant. In his eyes they weren't worthy of his attention. Instead he thought of what he would do tomorrow.
When he reached her he waited slightly before going out into the city. Gods help me. I hope the city doesn't kill me before I leave her. He braced himself for the onslaught of headaches that would make him wish he was dead, when he left The Withering Rose. He looked at Blizzard and saw a small whimsical smile on her face. He wondered what had put that smile on her face, but instead of asking her he held out his hand and waited for her. We go now? |

oocI think this'll be good for this thread. Unfortunately, I'm kinda tied down right now and can't make anymore threads for a bit. It's almost like I've burnt out and lost my muse for a little bit. Feel free to post again. Taking his hand with slight nod she replied "We go now." Leading him to the door, she pushed it open with enough force so the two could get out without having to push it again. The breezy cool night air hit her skin which sent a chill of excitement down her spine which felt amazing. Much to her not surprised self, the buildings had changed once again leaving her with no directions to The Wolf's Cave. It was late in the night and she was far too tired to enjoy this game of search and find. With a huff Blizzard sighed "This should be a fun game."
Blizzard didn't want any illusionists or Ionu themselves throwing in their tricks for the night. Confusion wouldn't help. "Hopefully, Ionu's showing us mercy tonight and The Wolf's Cave will be somewhere near." Her stone grey eyes were not as fiery as usual. There goes sleeping in snow leopard form. She would be far too exhausted after shifting and that was something she couldn't risk. Blizzard would probably end up sleeping the next day away. Shifting did require an excessive amount of energy.
"So how's your headache, Shyam? Faintly there? Gone? Throbbing pain?" She'd never had a headache before so couldn't show empathy. But she could show sympathy which was what she was doing right now. Sympathy? What the hell? Alvadas has softened you too much! You need to go on a hunt! Her conscience was right. She had softened way too much. At this point she wasn't sure how much sanity she'd lost but it was enough to make her show sympathy for practically weak friends? She didn't need to go on a hunt. She needed to go on several hunts and feel the bloodlust again. With a hard swallow she pressed on walking, becoming suddenly more alert again. Her face from tired to serious and wide awake.

SorryKinda came back from a small trip with some friends. They walked out into the night's embrace. Shyam was slightly disoriented, for the pain that he had braced himself for, never came. He pondered over this for a second and decided to find out why it was that he did not feel the pain. He looked at the woman next to him. I should take her back to the cave... but on the other hand this could only be temporary and finding out later would be a pain, especially with the headache always nagging me. Decisions are always annoying, yet Mother always told me to be polite to a lady and never to always escort her home.... He looked up at the night sky. It was a gorgeous deep dark blue. The moon was only partially consumed by the dark Not the perfect time to go searching but always better then never. Sorry Mother, but for today your son will be rude and leave a lady behind.I am sorry I need to go. I need to look for something. Without waiting for an answer he turned around and walked off, leaving Blizzard behind. He hoped that she would be alright and he would find something to get her to forgive him later, but for now he was more concerned about other things. He hoped that he wouldn't encounter any opposition because at the moment he did not feel like fighting, and he did not want to foul his good mood with pointless fights. Yet again I am in the hands of a crazy creature that calls itself a God(dess). Anything could happen.the shadows slowly consumed him and after awhile he disappeared from the sight of anyone that could have been watching him. |
