There was something peaceful about the atmosphere that pervaded the migrating city of Endrykas, with its towering pavilion tents, the wafting smell of open spitfires roasting the latest kills, and - most importantly - the idle chatter of a people that so rarely had the time or energy to do such. In a sense, Telia always found the migrating city a peculiar change of pace. She had become so used to the calming, yet sometimes eerie silence of the wilds, or the peaceful din of her home tent, that the city at large felt busy and occasionally suffocating. And yet, she knew that the survival of her people depended on such collaboration.

She led her Strider throughout the open spaces of grass that served as de facto roads throughout the encampment, her eyes scanning the bustling side streets for... She wasn't sure what. Advice of some sort, that much was certain. She cast an uneasy glance at the unstrung bow sticking out of one of the bags of yer Yvas. A gift from her mother, crafted by her father... And Telia knew that she could not do the weapon justice. Her people were known as legendary horseback archers, and yet as her strider galloped across the plains she found her aim unsteady and her vision inflexible. She needed a teacher, she had realized the night before - a service that she would have to find amidst her fellow plainsmen. Her father was an artisan with little experience in teaching the use of the weapons he crafted, and her brother preferred close combat to a bow and arrow. As such, she would have to find someone outside her family to help her... But who?
