50th of the Day, Fall of 512 A.V.
It had been a whole two seasons since she stopped seeing her friends. She was busy with the hold and her own life. The winter season going into spring was the worst. She felt tired a lot and she felt like her body was going on the fritz. Luckily, that time was over and she had gotten back into the groove of things. Even more so she is turning three this season. A whole year had past and she felt like she was a true adult.
Of course, her lack of friends left her alone this birthday. It was sad enough loosing both her parents the year before, now the few friends she made have disappeared. Possibly, or she guessed, they went on without her to the other side of Mizahar. She had planned to travel with them, a giant of sorts, a girl, and a stag kelvic... but it seemed whenever she got into being a hermit, they stopped coming around. For a while, Aiza blamed herself, and just wallowed in self-pity. It took a warm sunny day to actually bring her back to the city from her nice little cottage in the woods. She was glad too. Even for the fall season, that day was warm enough to get her going again.
The feline decided to make her own meal from scratch. Her cooking skills come from her mother's. Her mother was a servant who cooked every now and again and she passed those skills to her daughter and Aiza thanks her for it. Aiza can now live on her own and feed herself, which is better than what most animals have around the woods. Of course, every now and then Aiza will hunt, but she keeps to the warm, cooked, meals.
The market was busy that day. People were scrambling for that last shopping trip to stock themselves for winter. Aiza didn't plan to do that much but really just gather enough food to cook at her parent's cottage. She would maybe spend a couple more nights there before returning to the dorm she had at Winterhold.
The feline's eyes flickered around, taking in the surroundings. She could smell the fresh fish and the just picked veggies. She ran her fingers over the fabric of her cloak, feeling the soft materiel before gripping it closed to keep out the chilling wind that past. Slowly she began pacing the carts, searching for a bit of everything. It came to her at that point she really didn't know what to make. Maybe a fish dinner? Oh yes, fish sounded nice right now. Grilled fish with chopped carrots! Oh oh oh, and maybe some sweet potatoes for desert?
Her basket began to fill with the pieces of the meal, spices, veggies, and all. Her stomach was growling already and she was excited to get the meal going. She imagined the smell of the meat cooking and how the spiced would blend into the taste of the fish. A small purr erupted from her throat, causing the vendor at the fish cart to give her a weird look before she turned back to the market. This was great! She hadn't cooked for herself in a long time.
Her heart began to sink as her thoughts trailed off. It was wonderful that she was going to get her own meal, but she longed for a companion. The kelvic had not even found her life partner. It was frustrating in that matter. While being free was great, it was lonely. She was jealous sometimes of the other kelvics in the town who had someone to go home to, whether a love or a master. Or even just a friend at this point.
