It was pretty common to see men of black armor walking around the vicinity of Ravok. Most people knew that these men are in fact the Ebonstryfe. Jeram could be seen standing with two of these armored men. One of the men was a soldier and the other was a commander. He was told that he was going to be given a job to do. It was always an honor to be given a duty by a higher ranking member in the order, even if it would be a pretty simple job.

"Alright apprentice, we've got a hint that a citizen in our city might be harboring an escaped slave. As you know this must be stopped as the slave is property of Ravok until officially purchased. The slave is part of the race called Konti and she should stand out with her pale skin and white hair." he said to Jeram while also giving him a piece of paper with the man's name and address. "Do any type of "convinving" that you might need to do in order to get that slave back." he noted. "Yes sir!" Jeram said as the commander nodded and walked away with the soldier.

Jeram did not have much difficulty in locating the address. It was located in the docks which was easily considered the poorer part of town. Some people would consider places like this more dangerous because of the poor people generally being more desperate but that wasn't as much of a problem in Ravok where most citizens were more devoted and less trouble. That didn't mean that violence didn't happen because it did but it didn't occur very often except for maybe people that are new to the city and don't know just how important Rhysol actually is. Jeram was ready for anything to happen as he walked up to the man's home.

An Assignment (Solo, Flashback)

Jeram took another look at the paper he was given with the man's information. The name Garmen Hilfer didn't really sound like the name of a very impressive person so he shouldn't be very much trouble. He then knocked on the door to the home and waited for him to answer. There wasen't really anywhere he could go since every home around here was packed together and didn't have much room inbetween to go anywhere. Rattling was heard inside so Jeram figured that the man was probably home as the slave would most likely be quiet and try to hide.

Before long a muscular man answered the door. This was a little unexpected to Jeram and he didn't think that the man would be as big as he was. Garmen was at least a couple inches taller than Jeram but wasen't quite as big so he shouldn't be very tough if confrontation occured. Garmen looked like a working man which was probably the reason he was that big but he probably was untrained unlike Jeram. "What...do you want?" he said to Jeram, sounding already as if he had something that he didn't want people to know about. Jeram was not ready just yet to blow his cover so he had thought up an excuse to knock on a stranger's door.

"Greetings fellow Ravokian!" Jeram shouted with fake enthusiasm. "My organizaion has taken an interest in you and we want to offeryou a very high paying job." he finished. He tried to make it sound generic so as to not have to get very deep into the details. The man didn't seem to really know what was going on but as part of the poorer folk he didn't want to deny a way to earn more money. "Oh...well what kind of job is it?" he said unsure. Jeram then brought a look of confidence on his face

"Well i'm sure you'll love my proposal." Jeram said. "How would you like to barely have to work again for the rest of your life? The mizas will be pretty much be handed to you!"/b] he finished. Jeram really hated acting this way but it seemed like his plan was working as the man started to come around more. "Well that certaintly sounds interesting. Why don't you come inside for a minute? Garmen suggessted to Jeram. He quickly agreed and came into the man's home. Obviously if Garmen was hiding the slave inside he wasn't very worried about it anymore. The power of is very great indeed.

Jeram was directed to have a seat in the man's living area and Garmen excused himself as he went to go get drinks. The opportunity was taken as Jeram saw a dresser by the door. As quietly as he could Jeram would tip the dresser over in front of the door so that Garmen wouldn't easily be able to escape, or the slave. As Garmen had walked back into the room he noticed the dresser blocking the door. "What is going on?" he said as Jeram had hit him with one of the chairs in the room, temporarily knocking him out. "Hope you don't mind if I have a look around..."
