Nasrin re Ihsan
Race: Eypharian Birthday: Day 20 of the Winter season, 490 A.V. Age: 22 Gender: Female
Physical Description As an Eypharian, Nasrin possesses four delicate arms to which she puts good use in her chosen craft, perfumery, as well as a golden tint to her olive skin. Unlike many Eypharian women, she does not dye her black hair red with henna or paint it vivid colors. Instead she has grown it to an extraordinary length, the tips reaching down to tickle the backs of her thighs when unbound. With so much hair, she is free to experiment with many elaborate and beautiful styles of braids, decorated with flowers or beads in stunning jewel tones.
Nasrin has strong features and dark eyes, accentuated at all times by bold eye paints or tiny jewels. Like most of her race, Nasrin is exceptionally vain and spends a decent amount of coin on oils and creams for her skin and face; the result is a flawless and glowing complexion that she flaunts. Her hands, however, Nasrin hides beneath pretty gloves, for she has paid the price of her craft. Many hours spent grinding the mortar and pestle and handling a hot still has made her hands rough, and no amount of softening cream has been able to return them to their former state.
Character Concept/History Nasrin has a singular drive to be the absolute best at everything she touches. It is a clearly unattainable ambition to everyone but herself, but it has served her well so far, if not causing her to be something of a bratty and unpleasant child. Having decided that there was no more for her to learn from her family in Anhatep, she made the decision to travel abroad, specifically to the Spires, where a great abundance of unusual flora would allow her to further perfect her arts of perfumery and philtering. She was gifted a small copper alembic by her father, packed only her essentials (which included a hefty amount of cosmetics) and set on the road. She traveled with a merchant named Centroc, in the company of another Eypharian craftswoman headed to the Spires to improve herself. It was the unfortunate circumstance that she arrived mere days after the construction of the Base Camp, and was forced to stay there for some time, mingling with lesser races and sleeping in a barracks. After The Spires was retaken in the Summer of 512, she was able to find lodging at Grath's Rest for a time while she assisted in the construction of her own home. Thanks to an excellent program, her home was made available to her at no cost due to her high level of participation in building it. |
