Valdian Avenca Basic Information Race: Symenestra Birthday & Age : 486 AV (24 years old) Gender: Male Physical Description Valdian stands at around six and a half feet tall and weights around 165 lbs. His jet black hair is long enough to reach mid-way down his back, and is often kept braided. His eyes are a brilliant amethyst color. Gray veins can be seen just under his very pale skin. A thin scar runs down the left side of his face, from the temple to the bottom of his chin. Nearly all of the clothing that Valdian wears are dark gray or black. Like the rest of his race, he normally wears a shell-like armor over thin cloth wrappings. Very rarely does he ever don any form of shoes, and then only sandals that can be easily removed. Character Concept Valdian is very much so a loner, preferring to study in solitude rather than team up with any sort of group. His is very distrusting of strangers, and it takes a lot for him to get to like someone. He values information more than wealth, and is often glad to trade gold or other valuables for morsels of knowledge. Quiet and a man of little words, Valdian prefers to step back and watch others, gathering as much information about them as he can. Character History Valdian's birth was a tragic one, due to his very race. His mother was a Kelvic woman who had been imprisoned for "Harvesting". Upon giving birth, the mother was killed by the poison excreted by Valdian. He was the third child his father had sired, and therefore guaranteed to be the last. Because of this, his was very much so pampered by his father and adoptive mother, receiving nearly anything he wanted. One of the things that he wanted the most was knowledge. Soon after reaching his teens, Valdian began studying personal magics, with a large emphasis on Voiding. With his parents funding his ever-growing need for books, he excelled rapidly to become a semi-skilled novice in several personal magic disciplines. When he had learned as much as he could from the texts that he could find, he trekked to Sahova in order to further his training. For the past three years he has studied there, increasing his magical prowess on a daily basis.
