Arkale quickly obliged, forcing his heels down. There were so many things someone had to be aware of at any one time when it came to riding a horse. It certainly would not have been something Arkale would ever have done had he decided to not join the Knights.
A light snow began to fall over the wood, and Arkale glanced up into the steel gray sky. Snow was not something he was overly fond of. It was cold, uncomfortable, and made everything slick and dangerous. He tried to focus on the beauty it brought to the world, and view it in a positive light, but it was almost in impossible.
"So, what kind of creatures live in the wood? If I remember anything from my studies in Zeltiva, its that some critters go into a deep sleep through the cold season, but for the life of me, I don't even know what kind of critters make this wood their home."
