Prueth Race: Human Birthday: Day 13 of the Summer Season, 488 A.V. Gender: Female Age: 24 years Physical Description Prueth is a combination of many features that are all just a little bit too strong to be considered strictly attractive. Described by her mother as "tall and willowy," she is very thin, having few womanly curves to speak of, and to the dismay of her parents often forgets to eat when engrossed in research. The bones of her shoulders and hips are sharp, giving her a jackknifed appearance when she is curled up reading, though her delicate bone structure lends her an impish air when she is bothered to smile. Tousled, unkempt brown hair is haphazardly chopped to keep it from hanging in her eyes when she is bent over a text. Her face, though it seldom saw the sun before her journey began, is smattered with freckles that she has long given up on disguising with cosmetics. The finest feature on her face is her lips, which are full, wide, and pink, covering a set of well-kept teeth with a hint of a gap in front. History Prueth's parents were what would be called 'career students.' They met at Zeltiva's University young, and sharing a fierce love of academics, soon married. The cornerstone of their relationship was knowledge, and they continued to take classes on and off for the duration of their marriage. Prueth, the only child of this rich union, was raised in a heavily learning-oriented environment, and learned to read and write at a young age. She was fascinated with maps and books of all kinds, and even before she knew the alphabet she was reverently leafing through her parents' texts, running tiny hands over carefully inked pages. It was no surprise that Prueth would grow to be a scholar like her mother and father; however, she longed for a more hands-on approach to her education. She tired of armchair anthropology, and wished to depart from Zeltiva to study Mizahar's peoples for herself. She showed a particular interest in religious studies, and though her parents knew it would be extremely difficult, they arranged for her to travel far and wide to document Mizahar's various faithful, but not before demanding the she become proficient in Shielding in order to better defend herself. Personality An intense woman, Prueth can be difficult to get along with. She is irritable and hard-headed, with little patience. She throws herself deeply into work, writing for many hours on end without food or drink and has been known to strike out at anyone who disturbs her when she is concentrating. She does not relax often, and usually must be forced to have a mug of ale and unwind before she can let go and have a bit of fun. Her dream is to write an encyclopedia of Mizahar's divines and their followers.
