Character Concept
Adilliana is an intelligent soul of mixed lineage. Her appearance is that of a svefra, sea blue eyes adorn her angular face framed with sandy blond locks tied back. Her skin is tanned with many days of labour under a hot sun. She stands tall at a height of 5’7 and when require will fight ferociously as a skilled swordsman. She is and imported member of the pod as she is both a shipwright and a navigator. But now after a massive storm she awakes alone on her family’s Battered Casinor and can’t help but wonder whether she will survive

Character History
Adilliana’s Mother had been separate for the pod due to disease killing the crew of her boat shipwrecked unable to return to the sea and her pod. She took to mapping the nearby coast line spending a year on land. She reappeared after when a Nal’yeo was called preferring not to speak of her time lost. She was accepted back in a pod and resumed life on the sea.

A few months later though it was discover that she was pregnant. It was too soon for her to have attracted the attention of the men of the pod but she remains tight lipped when asked who the father was. The child was born with Laviku’s gift of blue eyes, despite question about her father the baby girl was accepted into the pod

Thanks to the abundant sources of food available to the Svefra Adilliana grew to 5’7feet which is slightly taller than other breeds of female human. Her sandy blond locks are often tied up in a scarf so they are out of her way. The harsh life of the sea has required her to strong enough to protect herself and her few possessions thus her body is firmly toned. As with the Majority of her pod she is always armed in case she is called upon to protect the sea for invaders. In Adilliana case she carries a cold steel cutlass, the one thing of her father she has.

To an outsider with her colourful clothes she would seem the picture of a Svefra. Amongst the pod though, she is unusual. She is quiet and reserved bearing no tattoos and never spent enough time in the water to find a Tavan. Indeed unless necessary she avoided swimming preferring to remain on deck observing the weather patterns or staring skyward mapping the position of the stars. This has led to her being the weakest swimmer in the pod. She was shunned by those her own age who often ridiculed her for her eclectic personality. However her time spent on board was not a waste. She became an amazing navigator with developed a sensitivity to weather changes that sometimes rivalled that of the Tavan that swam beside them. She was apprenticed to the shipwright to keep her out of the way of her more active rivals a trade she applied herself to without hesitation.
