Winter 23rd 512AV (Midnight)
***Special Permission From Valkyrie To Do Thread***
Another restless and cold night in which Blizzard could just not fall into sleep's hands. She was now to the recovery point where she wasn't tired but that was strictly because she had been sleeping a majority of her day only to wake up and not be tired when night came and early in the morning. However, Blizzard was getting accustomed to this new and irregular sleeping pattern as the streets were less crowded and there was less noise to ring through her ears. At least, she preferred it this way.
But perhaps there was a reason she was off of her sleeping pattern. Maybe she would find a cause for all of this. Perhaps a new item to add to her possessions? Perhaps a mystery left up to her to be solved? Perhaps a dying person in need? With what was going on, the possibilities were endless. Of course, maybe it again was just the sleep she had been deprived of and the energy she had exerted recently. Maybe it was just simply that.
Blizzard was stalking the streets once more, trying to spend the energy that she had gained this morning and evening. More sight seeing she supposed, despite the familiarity with just about every road and turn in Avanthal. The snow on her paws crunched slightly beneath her feet as she applied weight on the frozen water droplets. This caused them to pack together even tighter than they were and leave compressions in the snow in the shape of her paws. In other words, a trail of paw prints were left behind her.
Every building she passed, the Kelvic examined with a thoughtful and observative eye. She took in every detail, every flaw, and every good thing, about each building as well as the location. From shops, to trees, to bundles of small spaces filled with a miniature forests, to everything. It was details that counted when she was looking to expand her territory for she was back now. A small patch of forest to several, she needed new places to explore and perhaps new discoveries to have a bit of leisure time around.
Then she heard it. Splitting the air, much like thunder in a clear sky, the sound of broken glass. Blizzard could pinpoint the sound and it was close. Very close. Blizzard instantly broke into an all out sprint charging at a good forty miles per hour. It wasn't her fastest possible speed, but it certainly was gonna catch whatever it was at this time of night. The trail behind her now displayed a large gap in between her footsteps as she was now bounding. As she did so, she used her legs and square chest build to gain momentum as she powered her way forward.
