Built high in the massive branches of Taldera's bloodwood forest, The Spires is a city crafted by the peaceful and scholarly Jamoura. Considered a haven for scholars and sages Mizahar-wide, The Spires is a mecca of philosophy and science that draws people from far and wide with its promise of deeper thinking and higher reasoning.

Cade would wake up to a very strange sensation. It was not the comfort of a woman's body, nor the relaxation of an empty bed. It was a heavy weight on his chest. When he opened his eyes, he would see a fur wrapped pair staring back at him. Normally he would strike out in violence against such an intruder, but a quick realization that he was in The Spires, and such an action would have him tossed from the encampment. The inquisitive eyes belonged to a child Jamoura. The child smiled at the man.
"You're big! Almost as big as my dad! You are weird though, you need more fur." The child began punching Cade's pectoral. "You're a little soft for a mercenary aren't you? My books said you should look and feel like stone. Anyways, Master Pikkle asked me to fetch you and um... um.. the one named Railing. Or something like that. Maybe it was Pail? Anyways you two are to follow me, Master Pikkle is taking you on a capture mission."
The little Jamoura began pulling the two out of bed, much stronger than he appeared, though still requiring some effort for Cade. He waited until the two finished getting prepared, then he scrambled up the mountain of the man and straddled the back of his neck. "Okay then, head outside and follow Syna's rise until you reach a clearing by a stream. Pikkle will be there. Oh and be polite, he's got a bite of a temper."
The little Jamoura leapt off of Cade and onto the roof of their longhouse and disappeared. Cade and Rail would see Syna rising in the east, and would notice a faint path, relatively new. They would follow it for several chimes until they find a beautiful clearing next to the stream that fed into the encampment. There was no sign of any person though, nothing out of the ordinary.
