Center of scholarly knowledge and shipwrighting, Zeltiva is a port city unlike any other in Mizahar. [Lore]
Down around a corner, somewhere between the Old Quarter and West Street, a traveller might stumble upon the Lightshow Theatre, one of Zeltiva's most prestigious yet, in relative terms, unknown entertainment venues, has been around for close to twenty years. When it was first set up by a Theatre aficionado, it's repertoire was relatively small, limited to theatre and mostly tragedy but, since then, dancers, singers, acrobats and musicians have joined the troop and it has become known for innovation and pushing the boundaries of Theatre. Those viewing the performances may very well find themselves looking at men with feathered wings attached to their backs flying across brightly lit walls, enormous paper monsters peaking out behind stone pillars and huge cardboard ships rolling upon waves of women dressed in floating blue silks.
Prices are relatively cheap and the company is an open, pleasant lot - consummate professionals though always willing to behave friendlily with any amateur dreaming of the stage. They hold auditions at the beginning of each Spring and Autumn Season to join the company then, once in the company (which currently numbers a couple hundred members) members can audition for certain parts in the performances.
Every now and again, a travelling dance group or operatic group will stage performances here for a week or two.
Note: These prices are not set in gold. When Travelling Troupes are involved, the price will be according to them and if a performance is expected to especially popular or expensive, then the prices will be higher. Of course, if the opposite occurs and the performance has not sold well then the prices may very well be lower.
