The Windy Whistle can be founded in two ways. One may ask and be pointed in the direction of the Petal of Fabled Crescendo or follow their ears. The petal practically vibrates with music. To discover the Windy Whistle, one should follow the sound of the woodwind instruments.
Approaching the store, the visitor is first assaulted by the sounds of woodwind instruments. Inside, these instruments line the walls by their family. Although all visitors first enter the shop room, if they decide to try an instrument they will be led to one of the five practice rooms with an assistant who will help them learn the tool.
The practice rooms are tiny cubicles with two stools and a small table. Two of the five rooms are without a table, for the larger instruments. The rooms have padded walls, as to keep any noise from escaping and flooding the store.
At all times, assistants can be found helping visitors. The store itself is a partnership between a Jamoura and an Akvatari. The shop was created in 480 AV, but was destroyed with the Djed Storm of 512. Once it had been rebuilt, the shop reopened its doors and continued selling.
At the Windy Whistle, one can buy or sell woodwind instruments. Repairs are also available. For a price, one can have an instrument specifically designed and carved for them. As the shop is located in the Spires, all instruments are made from wood, bone, leather, or some natural product. The only instruments in the store with metal or large quantities of stone are those that have been sold to the store by a visitor to the Spires. As such, the store does have a limited amount of supplies.
