The Play-Sky is a popular playground, especially for the younger Jamoura. The thrill of life and death excites the adrenaline-junkies who visit this location. Located at the very top of the forest, the Play-Sky overlooks a vast and spectacular view of the Spires's forest. To find the Play-Sky, one must simply look up. The playground covers nearly one fourth of the Spires and is constantly growing.
Sporadically, throughout the area the Play-Sky covers, one may find ladders settled against trees. Though the Jamoura can climb trees, these ladders are for the other races that are less acrobatic. One simply needs to ascend using the ladder or other means and slide past the loosely weaved net. They have then entered the Play-Sky.
Vines of all sizes and lengths hang from the trees in Play-Sky and are the reason the playground exists. Wrapping their hands around the vine, an individual can run down the branch they are standing on or kick off the tree trunk and soar into the sky. It is recommended the feet are wrapped with the vine in a similar fashion as the hands. Some people are even talented enough to swing from vine to vine, quite literally, or do tricks during flight.
There is a net below the Play-Sky to catch those who fall from the vines, whether on purpose or accident. Located at one end of the Play-Sky is a carved tree trunk. Landing at the right angle can cause an individual to slide down the trunk in a spiral pattern and be dispersed at Float Away, a shop that sells balloons and gliders.
Once a year, in the Fall, Play-Sky hosts a widely renowned holiday known as Glide Away Day.
Note: No moderation necessary.
