Known as the Celestial Seat, Nyka is a religious city in Northern Sylira. Ruled by four demigods and traversed by a large crevice, the monk-city is both mystical and dangerous. [Lore]

Safe Haven Hostel

Sneaky sneaky, she was very much so, Ana wiggled to and fro in her room looking around her items and carefully rearranging them. She had to stay busy, or otherwise her plan wouldn't work, and she would most certaintly get bored waiting. The small thief had her door open wide enough so she could see people pass by, as well as hear them walk past, and who was she waiting for to get up and leave the Hostel? None other than that strange red head himself that arrived a day prior, he had some questionable items on him, such as a well made box, and some wood bits, a backpack, other bags, and thats all she really noticed on him upon him initially entering the Hostel. Ana of course, with the mark on her neck- would not aim to steal anything at the given moment, but hopefully she could just snoop for a bit when he left his room.

There was a palor to his skin that made him seem unreal, and the red eyes she had caught glimpse of sent shivers down her spine. Especially down her spine, and not in any good way that Ana could name.

Of course her curiousity would proove to be the death of her one day- and it seemed to be that she had trouble learning from past mistakes, but today was not going to be one of those days if she played her cards right. She twithered about in her room trying to stay busy, it was only the morning after all, and with her sleepless profile, it was obvious she had been up the whole night just waiting for something to happen. The room was small, cramped, only room enough for a small desk, chair, and bed, her own bags sitting on the ground at the foot of the bed. Nervously, she looked about, and then had an idea, a rather random idea that held little signifigance towards the situation none other than to keep her busy. She had a shirt she never used, packed away into her backpack, perhaps if she wore the shirt she would feel a little more confident in what she was about to do? It was such an absurd idea, one that was most definitely silly to say the least.

Ana peeked out the door, looking both ways into the hall before shutting it promptly; she did what she had to do, but dully noted the shirt she had stolen from Wrenmae seasons ago was two sizes too big for her tiny self. The sleeves fell past her hands, and the mouth of the shirt gaped tremendously when the strings weren't pulled tightly to keep it together. She was slightly peturbed by the airyness she felt in her chest area, as if the shirt and tunic she usually wore kept her form tangible, and there. In an attempt to fix the uncomfortable feeling she was getting from the shirt, she tucked the hem of the shirt into her pants and under her belt, before going to tie the strings around the v of the neck tighter; discovering wonderfully that the shirt had a collar that could partially cover her ugly Thieves Brand. There wasn't much she could do for the sleeves, she sighed at this.

Looking to the window, she saw the grey light of dawn beginning to perk its way through the hazy, misty clouds of the Nykan city. She refixed her dagger and shortsword to her side, eyes glancing towards the door as she strode to it anxiously, opening it as slowly as she could but not all the way- the hinges held a rather nasty squeek when the door was opened half way.

C'mon, time just can't seem to move any faster.. Ana thought to herself, somewhat annoyedly with how time worked.

Peeking through the crack she had made and observed what she could. Would the red-head be just like the others? The ones that slept in until 8 to 10 Bells into the morning? Or 6 Bells, like the rare few she had noticed?
