Location: Bizzare
Tanrea stepped out from the safety and security of the Sanity Center, tentatively looking around at the city that could, at any moment, shift and change at the will of some powerful being. Two hands held firmly on the straps of her backpack, the Eypharian woman strode forward with a determined expression in her eyes.
For the moment all seemed... normal? Was that the correct word for it? Tanrea looked around at the buildings she passed, the people of the city carried on about their day, not stopping to offer a second glance at the six armed woman that walked among their streets. Could it be that they had all seen an Eypharian before? How strange when, in Zeltiva, her multiple arms had drawn quite a bit of attention.
The sounds of falling glass made Tanrea jump, and eyes wide she looked up at the sky to find a large crack had appear to cut through the clear blue sky. As she watched bits and pieces began to come free and fall to earth, black depths and starry light shining through behind. Frantic she looked around to see if anyone else saw what she saw, yet those that took the time to glance up seemed to be little disturbed by this odd occurrence. A troubled feeling began to fill the woman's chest as she started walking once more, eyes glancing up at the sky from time to time.
Perhaps here... I am not such a wonder after all.
With a shake of her head Tanrea banished all further thoughts from her mind, instead focusing on what she was to do. Find the Bizzare, purchase new clothing so that she could look her best for when she met with her future employer, and finally find an inn to stay the night in. It seemed simple enough, or so Tanrea thought as she passed the same three houses for the 3rd time.
***2 bells later***
Petching Alvadas... Tanrea cursed as she passed a very familiar group of trees that swayed from side to side, "Curse this entire city..."
Tanrea sighed, stopping to lean against the wall of a building that flickered between shades of gold to dark blues. Two arms crossed over her chest, two more came up to press palms against her temples as she closed her eyes against the madness, "I have walked for an eternity. I have seen trees uproot themselves and plant themselves in a new location, buildings that held blinking eyes, flowers that laughed and giggled at my clothing..." She pressed her palms harder against her forehead, "Where is the Bizzare!!!??"
A soft breeze tugged at her hair, and looking up Tanrea saw a sight that made her heart stop. Mills of people were walking into a building, a building that could only be...
"Finally... Perhaps I AM going mad after all."
Following the milling crowds Tanrea made her way into the large building, only to once more be baffled by the utter insanity that was inside. It was bigger on the inside than the outside!!
The Eypharian found herself for the 5th time this day, yes she had counted, stunned to gaping silence over all that she saw. Hundreds of people, stalls of any merchandise imaginable, loud speech, wonderful wares. It was... it was...
"Magnificent..." she breathed. Checking her coin purse Tanrea counted 600 Gold rimmed Mizas that she had to her name. It was not much, but still she would make the best of what she could with what little she had. "Though I must remember I am to eat at some point." she mused absently as she began walking through the collected vendors.
