OOCHope you don't mind another person showing up here.Alexandra was still getting used to life within Frostfawn Hold, it was certainly far different than any other place she had lived. Like all places in Avanthal it was cold, though if she had not wished for cold she shouldn't have come to the city of always winter. Within the halls of the hold it was less cold but still she wrapped herself in her thick robes, pulling the tightly to her as she walked.
The young woman supposed she should be grateful for being granted living space here in the hold, and she was. The hold had been nothing if not welcome to her, despite her foreign ancestry, saving the life of one of their hunters had apparently earned their respect. Still Alex couldn't help feel like a stranger in these halls, like she didn't belong here, like she was an outsider in another's home.
The woman shook her head slightly at the thought,
If the Frostfawn did not want me here they would not have invited me to live here, She reasoned.
Of course they didn't know who she really was, or rather what she was. Magic was generally frowned upon in most cultures she had encountered, most people usually saw it as trouble or even evil. Being a child of two wizards Alex did not view it as such, to her magic was a tool, a dangerous tool to the foolish or inexperienced but a tool none the less. With any luck no one would be the wiser as to her practices, Flux was not the most obvious of disciplines after all.
The sound of music reached the young woman ears from up ahead, it was a soft melody, almost tentative and unsure. It was a good tune, simple but pleasant. Definitely a flute of some kind if Alex was to be the judge of things.
Curious, the young woman approached the source of the music, which had stopped during a pause due to a soft applause. She happened upon a scene of two individuals greeting each other in a door way, one a black haired man shorter than herself, the other a black haired girl Alex judged to be about her own age. A soft smile found its way to the young woman's features as she slowly walked up to them, they looked friendly enough.
As she approached Alex decided it best to call upon her limited control of Vani, as the pair were most likely natives. It was only polite to use their native language after all.
"Greetings, sorry for any interruption, I was merely wondering who was playing the flute around here. Was it one of you two?" Alex said in her halting command of Vani, her expression as serene as ever.
