Birthplace: Avanthal, Taldera Appearance: Born in the unforgiving north, Tristana's appearance has been very much shaped by her environment. Her shoulder length, choppily cut white hair and deep, all-black eyes show the dire polar bear within her. Her eyes are usually lined with dark black kohl and her shoulders and upper arms are inked with dark tattoos, showing her enthusiasm for her trade. She dresses simply and has a mildly muscular physique and is 5'7'' in height. Character Concept Tristana is of loyal, affectionate nature, such are the common traits of her kin, but yearns for companionship and to form her first bond with another – an experience she has yet to discover. She longs for adventure and new ideas and inspiration, but her lack of experience in places other than her birthplace in Avanthal means that she is heavily reliant on the skills of others for protection and survival and has a lot to learn when it comes to different peoples and their customs. She is curious and fascinated by a lot of the world around her, and so has to be extra cautious to avoid walking straight into the lap of danger. Character History Tristana was born within the city of Avanthal as a dire polar bear and developed her skills with the potential of becoming the bond mate of a Vanthan member of the Icewatch, the powerful warriors dedicated to protect the city. But this kind of future was never meant for her – she longed to pursue art and her inking talents, dreamt of travelling the diverse world of Mizahar, and so left the safe confines of her home only a year after entering the Icewatch to finally live this dream. Regrettably, the harsh wilds of Taldera and the unfamiliar environment of Sylira took their toll on Tristana, who struggled her way across the land, travelling vast distances in her polar bear form, only to reach the outskirts of Ravok broken and bruised and barely surviving, to be taken in by two pitying companions, Talon Shadowfoe and Funestae Mortis, with whom she resumes her adventures.
