Hey. This is my first try at an online forum rpg so I am pretty pumped. I read the starters guide but i was wondering if there was a specific form I should fill out for my character? I am thinking about an Inarta for my race. well any tips for playing would be cool too.

not a very specific post so i will talk more. I am Ryan (thats my real name) I like rpg video games, smoking weed, psychedelics, food, and soccer pong . I'm cool so don't worry about any trolling or spamming from me because there won't be any. I m pretty excited to get started. Idk if i will like it or not but i guess i won't know until i try. I'm really relying on a good solid structure when playing because i have seen a few other role playing postings on other forums and they kinda got lame. So far what I am seeing from this site, I think i will enjoy my stay.

You said you have read the Starter Guide? Thats very good. Did you also read about the Valterrian?(http://www.mizahar.com/lore/Valterrian) Make sure you read and re-read the starter guide if you have any questions, most of them are solved somwhere in there. As for something specific, it should tell you in the Starter Guide what needs to be on a character sheet. However, Gossamer has made a sample character sheet that i have found very useful (Because she is awesome and made of win). I guess Storm beat me to it but not really since I already view this thread and just sorta waited for someone else to post . I guess if we were racing I stopped to watch her go ahead. Any ways reading about Valterrian and the starting guide is great also the character sheet is nice to have but you forgot to mention The Starting Package

My first suggestion is an attempt at mastering the very simple concept of Capitalization. Punctuation is also a necessity. Because, I have to admit its a little hard to take someone seriously that can't be bothered to capitalize their posts. I understand this is your first forum roleplay so we'll cut you a little slack so long as you are OOC. Once you get into IC mode though, please pay attention.

Second issue... your name. It needs to be capitalized at the VERY least. Secondly, it needs to be... well more of a name. I guess I can see if your absolutely set on digdagdeg as a name, but if your going with Inarta, its not much of one. I did google it, found posts on both a homework help site and random jobs - so I suspect your rather young (one of the comments referred to 'your mom') which is cool. We like young folks here. But we are, however, really attached to our naming policy.

Account names must reflect fantasy style names. No copyrighted names (Fizban, Legolas, Frodo, Richard Rhal, Harry Potter) will be allowed. No inappropriate names from real life or titles (Satan, God, President Bush, Demon, Mohammad) such as those of Gods or Goddesses will be allowed. No numbers or decorative effects are allowed in names either. Titles or improper names like 'Thedragonwarrior' are not allowed. Please use appropriate spelling and capitalization. All lower case names annoy us. If you create an inappropriate name, you will be asked to change it or the account will be deleted. We strive to maintain a playerbase of original interesting names. Please aid us in making that possible. Special characters are allowed if they are appropriate.

Thank you very much. I am 18, if any one was wondering, and the homework help thing that Gossamer found was actually not even for homework haha. Well any way i'll pay more attention to my punctuation and grammar from now on. I am really enjoying the people here, so I think it will be a good time.
