The grimoire is only handed down to the first born child at the age of ten. The grimoire is given the command of the previous holder to follow the new holder’s voice, making the new holder the owner of the Grimoire. Because the book is animated, the holder simply has to ask what they want to view and the book will flick thought itself and stop on the desired page. However, if the writer adds a new page to the grimoire, he has to register the page so that the Grimoire knows that the page is present within itself.
