Skia

Appearance

Race: Isur
Gender: Male
Age: 40
Birthday: Spring, 473.
Birthplace: Sultros

Appearance: I'd say Skia's about average height for whatever an Isur is. He's super muscular, though. His build is quite intimidating-- muscles upon muscles upon muscles. One glance at this guy, even from far across the street, and you'll know he's not the guy you'd want to get on bad terms with at the local pub. He's much, much wider than he is tall (as in, like, proportionally), and has short legs. His skin is pretty light, and is "greasy looking," if that makes sense. He is very dwarf-ish as far as body/build is concerned, to be frank.

Skia has sort of a "dumb face." You know those people that always seem to have a confused expression all the time, regardless of the situation? That's Skia's face. His hair's dark, a bit long, and splits into strands. He typically keeps it back in a band that wraps around his scalp. He doesn't usually wear a shirt; the only thing on his chest is hair and the straps that hold his pants up. He does wear pants, though: don't worry.

Character Concept

How to put this gently.... Skia's kind of.... stupid. He is not the brightest crayon in the box. He probably couldn't even find his way into the box. The Isur man may know how to swing a hammer, and enjoy doing so, but that is the extent of his intelligence. History, complex puzzles, riddles, metaphorical or figurative meaning, memory, and just about any other mental process is a monumental challenge for Skia.

He is, however, quite loyal to those who do good by him. It doesn't take much for Skia to trust someone indefinitely. This is reminiscent of his whimsical nature, caused in-part by his limited attention-span. Sometimes, he wants to hit a bloke with a hammer. Sometimes, he wants to follow the shiney butterfly across fields and fields in no intended direction whatsoever. He takes orders well, as long as he can understand them, of course. But yeah: obedient, loyal, dumb, and a little bit dumb.

Character History

Once upon a time, Skia was born in Sultros on a warm spring's morning. He cried when he was born, like a baby does. His father was a blacksmith, while his mother ran a textile mill down on the other part of town. Skia was easily fascinated by the way his father could bend and sharpen metals, and endlessly entertained by the banging of his hammer and the flying of the flames.

When he was old enough, his father let him help out in the blacksmith place thing where they do blacksmithing. Immediately, his father saw he would have to expose Skia gradually to such work, as grasping even the most menial of tasks were clumsily attempted by the challenged child. What Skia was really good at was swinging the hammer. He was often called upon by his father to stamp down and finish the metals he worked on. Skia gained a lot of strength from doing this, and eventually got a better arm than his father.

When he wasn't helping his father smith, Skia took to hammering off-duty. He hammered at the side of the mountain. He hammered buildings. He got in trouble for hammering at buildings. He hammered at fruits. He hammered at rocks. He hammered at just about anything that he could hammer. He loved to hammer at things, smashing and bashing at whatever gave him that giddy pleasure to smash and bash.

However, one fateful day, Skia had wandered off. You see, someone of Skia's delicate mental ability required constant supervision. In no time, he'd followed whatever shiney thing he saw so far that it lead him off the mountains, due west. Upon noticing he was lost, Skia became frightful, wondering how far he'd gone, or if he was lost forever. He wandered in a randomly chosen direction for days. As luck would have it, he stumbled upon the city of Lhavit, just as his body began to waver in dehydration and exhaustion. Locals spotted the lad collapsed nearby, and, with great difficulty, transported the giant man inside, where he's yet to find something to do with himself....

Hello hello!

My name is Banshee, and I am here to help you with the daunting task of joining the Mizahar Community. It is my duty to assist you with your Character Sheet, so that you can get to writing quickly and properly.

And I've noticed several things that need addressed in your Character Sheet, that will need to be fixed before you can begin roleplaying here. You will need to read all of the tabs below, make the appropriate changes, then send me a Private Message. When that has all been done, I will remove this Intervention, and you can get back to roleplaying. Have a great day, and I can't wait to see more of your writing soon!

Profile
You have Isur listed as your Race in your CS, but not in your Profile. You can change this by going to the User Control Panel and going to the Profile Section.

Also you need to add a link to your CS in your Profile as well.

Skills
Constitution isn't a skill. I'm not sure what sort of skill you're looking for, but perhaps Unarmed Combat or Brawling would be better?

Gnosis
Even though all Isur get the Izentor Gnosis, you must still apply to the Help Desk Forum for the Gnosis Mark and receive a Storyteller Secrets thread that goes into your Profile.

Housing
Even if you cash in your Housing for the 500gm, you must still list where your PC is living, even if its an Inn. Cities frown on homelessness.
