Spring 24th, 513AV
The slight overcast threatened with rain brought in from the east and a gentle breeze kept the day nice and cool. Syna's rays managed to break through here and there, and the beautiful display is what drew the young writer out for a walk, and a search for more supplies for his craft kept him located along West Street, where all the better shops were.

The light chill had caused Zuki to adorn himself in his favored coat which hid away the two extra sets of arms, though it made his abdomen appear a little thicker than desired. He had not dulled his skin with dirt today, leaving the light gilded olive tone to bathe in the scant sunlight which managed to touch him. With bright eyes and a broad smile, his cheap boots made light taps on the cobblestone road on a path that zig-zagged through the stalls and people. The diversity of all the goods was enough to make his head spin and, if he was not careful, his coin dwindle...

[West Street] Hail Eypharian! [Tlazotinya]

Postby Tlazotinya re Jahrid on June 5th, 2013, 4:33 am

Tlazotin re Jahrid lifted dark eyes to the sky, she smiled slightly, today may have been slightly cooler, but she was enjoying the weather. It gave her a sense of peace, at least that was how she felt, after the past few weeks had been hell. Her eyes drifted to a stall where a human was selling brightly colored beads and brightly dyed fabric. Her smile grew broader, they were fabrics from home.

She was dressed in a bright tunic with a sash tied around her waist, she wore boots and tight breeches, mixing simple with elegant seemed odd, but to her it was normal, she had her short swords strapped to her thighs. She wore no cloak, leaving her arms in the view of everyone around her. She seemed to ignore all of them, however a few snickered behind hands, she turned in their direction shooting them a murderous glare. The girls winced and walked away. Tlazotinya smiled at the merchant who seemed to acknowledge her with a nod, and a slight smile.

Tlazotinya smiled back and then spotted a beautifully crafted brocaded silk toga. She ran dark skinned fingers over the fabric. "This is beautiful..." The merchant nodded.

"Aye, some of the best craftsmanship there is.."

Tlazotinya removed her fingers from the toga and sighed, she had to saved her coin, not spend it on ridiculous things.
Life is one thing that many don't understand.......It is something to indulge and find pleasure in......Not wallow in and find thing distasteful.
