![]() [code]Race: Kelvic (Wolf) Birthday & Age: 1 yrs old (Summer of 508 A.V.) Gender: Boy ![]() Na’al’s ‘natural’ form is a young wolf, still a cub in many respects, standing at roughly two feet tall on all fours. His fur is a mix of dark cinnamon colors blending into blacks and occasional lighter reds, while his eyes almost glow with an autumn gold light. His human side however carries the cinnamon red color into his hair, carrying a wind groomed look about it, while his skin has been gently kissed by the sun that passes through the forest’s canopy, His face carries an almost mischievous innocence to it. His smile compliments this look, as a small fang usually finds a way to poke its way out, giving a hint to his true nature. His eyes remain the same, reflecting his inner being. ![]() Growing up alone is not an easy thing, be it as a man or a beast. Though the little wolf managed… The lessons taught in nature are different then those taught by man. His nature is simple, and the path he takes often reflects this… Perhaps in the eyes of the ‘enlightened’ this could be mistaken as stupidity, though acting on instinct is not always a poor decision. The simplest answer is often correct. Though man and nature do not exist separately from each other, and encounters with the rather odd creature known as man have piqued new curiosities with in the young wolves mind. Even more recently, Na’al has found that they share something in common, often waking in the night to find himself missing fur, carrying the odd, yet somewhat fascinating form of those very creatures that he has watched for so long from a distance. In his heart though, there is a longing for something, though he has yet to be able to understand its true nature. ![]() Na’al has no memories of his birthplace, nor his actual parents. The actual nature of these things has faded into history… Perhaps someone knows the beginning of his story, but they have yet felt the urge to share it. Na’al was given to the forest as a young child, newly born in the heat of the summer nights. Perhaps there was a shred of compassion in the act, Perhaps it was planned out, but it lead to the young cub being able to survive. Delivered into a pack of wolves, the young child learned the ways of the forest, the laws of nature, ignorant of the ties to society that had been cut away from him. With time, the cub grew, ignorant of the truth, but always knowing some how that he was much different from his new family, and somehow, they knew as well. Life continued as it would for any young cub, until the first instance of meeting humans… They were an odd creature, not quite smelling of food themselves, but they carried an air about them, a curiosity… Such strange things they seemed to carry, and their fur was even stranger, not to mention the fact that they could remove parts… As time passed, his curiosity lead him closer and closer, often making way to inspect the humans closer at night, when luck lead him upon travelers in the night… Many things have gone missing to the forest, for many travelers, unknowingly taken in the night by a very curious and mischievous wolf. Each season his collection grew with the passing of merchants, families and other travelers through the forest, some were more approachable then others, but the times that he attempted to approach them in a more “friendly” nature, usually lead to fright… It seemed there was some strange taboo about creatures like himself… While it took time, he eventually came to understand small bits and pieces of their nature. … To think they thought they looked appetizing. |
