Physical Description
Image
Human Form: Physically speaking, Sjerit is a fine specimen to anyone of the female race. Standing a startling 6’4 tall, he towers over most people he comes across. His chocolate skinned body is lean but well muscled, like an acrobat chiseled from stone. His cold eyes are a golden amber with flecks of brown, and his thick black hair hangs in dreads past his shoulders. Many black tattoos cover his body in random smatterings of glyphs, sigils, and alchemical symbols. Also littering his body are many scars from surviving the Myrian jungles and surviving his own father, most dominate of them being the thick scar across this throat.
Image
Dhani Form: Maintaining his 6’ human form’s height, in this new form the rest of his body is 13’, making him an alarming 19’ predator to common folk. His serpentine half carries all the markings and colors of his snake form. For the most part is human half stays the same with the exception that his muscles seem to bulge slightly more, his teeth are replaced by a jagged set of wicked fangs, and what were once random tattoos seem to resemble the scaled patters on the back of his serpentine half.
Image
Snake Form: Measuring 36’ long, Sjerit is a serpentine behemoth to be feared. His scales are a pale almost ashy gray, with well pronounced reddish-brown “saddle” patterns from head to tail that gradually become redder and redder until his tail where is a rich vermillion color, finally is underscales are a creamy white with random flecks of black all down his belly. His eyes are a golden brown with vertical slit pupils.

Character Concept
Personality – Sjerit is hardly more than a slightly deranged streetmage, selling his services to anyone with coin and tight lips. Typically calm and collected, he is a smooth character that does what he wants and doesn’t care about anyone else. He can be patient to a degree if it is profitable, but more than likely he will quickly grow impatient. While not nessicarily evil, he is a cold and vicious creature with no love for anything save himself, and he will just as quickly see someone in a bloody heap as he will shake their hand. More of a plan maker than an impulsive person, he is well noted for going along with random whims. His mental activity is in constant action, and as such he loves to manipulate and toy with the minds of others, just as much as he likes playing with his food.
Ethics – Power accumulation is the name of the game, and in its course nothing is above him and his ambitions. He does what he wants, and takes what he wants. Accessing it anyway from shaking hands all the way to killing anything in his path, and everything in-between. If you think your children are an exception, you are sorely mistaken. In fact he’s always had a fondness for the taste of young children.

Character History
Sjerit’s mother was a vivacious priestess in the call of Siku. She was a cruel bitch who had not a sliver of love for the boy. His father was a well respected warrior, who disappeared not long after Sjerit’s birth. A body was never found; many believed the Myrians had taken him to be sacrificed to their own goddess. Aside from his teachings and his matriarchal beatings, very little happened for the first six decades of his life.

Sixty four years later, a hooded Dhani came to his family nest, bearing the skull of a Myrian child as his trophy. His father, Ocass’is, had returned, telling a gruesome story of how he had been caught by Myrian savages, and taken to Taloba. Recognizing his strength, the Myrians sold Ocass’is into slavery to a wild wizard who was as vicious as he was brilliant. For many years he protected the wizard and was eventually permitted to train under the man, who believed an apprentice assistant enslaved to him would only make things grander and easier. The man was mistaken, once he believed he had learned enough Ocass’is killed the wizard with his bare hands, and then turned on the man’ poor daughter. Her skull was his trophy.

All was well for awhile, with Ocass’is training his son in stealth and combat to better aid in his survival skills. Eventually however, Ocass’is grew violent toward the nest viewing the matriarchy’s demands as another stint of enslavement for him. One day, in the middle of retrieving glowstones for the family’s nest, he held his hand out the Sjerit and asked “Take my hand child, and I will teach you how to make the world yours.”

Then and there the two Dhani abandoned Zinrah. They travelled the land sporadically stopping in random villages sometimes for days, some for years. Ocass’is ever attempting to reach new potentials, and Sjerit quickly becoming competent himself. Slowly but surely, Ocass’is gave into the sweet whispers, constantly growing more and more unstable. He became violent and unpredictable at best, often attacking Sjerit or otherwise forcing his son to perform feats that should have killed him. Eventually, Sjerit began to hear whispers in his own ear. Whispers about being powerful, almost godlike, and completely rid of his malicious father. Louder and louder the whispers grew. Then one night, after his father had overgiven himself once more, Sjerit attempted to kill the old dhani. The two struggled for a good while, when Ocass’is managed to cut Sjerit’ throat. Luckily the blade barely grazed his vocal cords, leaving him with nothing more than a rough and raspy voice. Ocass’is’ head however, was quickly caved in by a crystal ball that Sjerit had acquired in their tumult.

With his father dead and their most recent home, already wary and frightened by the vicious duo, Sjerit packed his things and those of his father’s he intended to take, and set off for a new home. Nothing before him except freedom, ambition, and those honeyed words whistled by the Djed.

Money's the same, whoever gives it to you. That was the point of money, after all: crisp and clean or wrinkled or disintegrated into quarters - a dollar was always worth a hundred cents.
