Seryk Appearance Race: Human, mixed Gender: Male Age: 19 Height: 5 feet 2 Birthday: 35th winter 493 Birthplace: In syliras Appearance: Seryk's hair is a dirty blonde that is pulled back in a ponytail to keep it out of his eyes. His eyes are a dull brown and he grows a thick beard he is rather proud of. He is very short and usually wears practical and cheap clothing that is stained in who knows what. When traveling he wears the set of studded armor his father and mother gave him to keep him safe. Character Concept Exitable, curious, slightly perverted and a mouth making promises slightly to big for him to live up to. That would be the way people describe seryk after their first meeting. When you get to know him better however. He still is excitable, curious, slightly perverted and has a big mouth. But you also would notice that he isn't just some fool who sticks his nose where it doesn't belong. He is able to keep his curiosity in check when it he knows it is dangerous and actually knows what he is talking about,usually, and who has a keen interest in languages old or new. Especially the swearwords though, he is far from a bastion of maturity. Character History Seryk was born in syliras from a syliran mother and a drykas syliran knight. His youth was pretty uneventfull. His father wasn't home very often thanks to the work he did with the knights. But when he was he usually dedictated his entire time to his family. Dispite that though Seryk's grandfather never approved of a husband that was almost never home and let his wife alone with a child to raise. His grandfather had a big hand in raising seryk and he still remembers the lessons his grandfather drilled into his mind at a young age. Though all of those generally came down to “ use your blasted head boy!” When he grew up seryk had a big intrest in what was outside the walls and realitvely safe ground around syliras. He wanted to see the world and know what was out there. Much to the displeasure of his parents and grandfather. He did his own thing however, he learned new languages that he thought might use eventually, stumbeling across the old language of nader- canoch. He first foolishly believed that since it wast he orgin of all languages, understnading that would lead to understanding the newer languages more easily. Which didn't really seem to be the case, still he has picked up the study of that language as a hobby and is constantly looking for other languages he might learn. In the spring of 513 he finally convinced his parents and grandfather to let him go on his journey. He sais his goodbyes hoisted his belongings and the few gifts of his parents to keep him safe on the journey over his shoulder and joined a trade caravan to nyka. A city that , if the rumors were true, was full of wonder and amazement. A good place to start.
