Xi fell in stride beside apos as apos lead the way towards his smaller camp. Only a few things to retrieve, but they were detrimental to his travels ? Hrrm. Xi folded his arms across his chest, being careful of the wound on his arm. The walk for the most part towards the camp was taken in silence. Xi's forgotten the simple joy of not talking too much having to explain his motives for everything with zandelia and ana. He sighed and smirked lightly, a slow breath emanating from his frame as the piar walked eventually though the golden silence snapped and gave way to a question one of both some merit and some worth talking about. The fall of the crimson edge. "I really don't know all that much about it. After all it wasn't soething i was filliated with i remember a few people trying to hunt me down so i'm half greatful it's disbanded however...It's not exactly a good thing, it means that other powers will take it's place, smaller rivalries for the slot it left in sunberth. In short, it's dissolution will become a power struggle...And a lot more people are going to die in that city because of it."

Xi reached a hand up to scratch his beard lightly the wind blowing lightly and whipping through his hood. Between him and apos there was a familiar feeling that everyone who fought and fought well had, a warriors respect and a firm hold on the reality and gravity of one's actions. Xi sighed slowly. "Apos, what's your stance on mages? And i mean out side of the generic everyone hates them. I mean what's your stance on them how do you see them?" Xi flashed him a glanced of hardened blue eyes, the darkness telling quite plainly he was speaking from a perspective of someone who knew one and fought one. As strong as his muscle was, magic always was his bane, even with his own.

After Ximal finished his reply, Apos couldn't help but take note of the stance of their friendship. They contrasted greatly when it came to the lives and safety of others, but in turn it created an sort of ying and yang relationship. Apos wouldn't be as blunt as to say that he could care less about the lives of Sunberth's civilians but the power struggle of the gangs definitely crossed his minds. Seeing Ximal's concern over the matter let Apos take note of what is and what isn't acceptable for Ximal as far as casualties goes. Though the Myrian isn't the sort to kill someone for absolutely no reason at all, he definitely wouldn't feel anything if someone else did it next to him. Apos' guess was that his profession is the result of his nonchalant-like attitude when dealing with anyone outside of his circle. He could only hope Ximal would understand.

"I don't think I share the same sentiment as you do, Ximal." Apos said slowly. He rubbed his hand across his forehead to wipe away some sweat, attempting to think of something to help aid his response, but couldn't think of anything to add. He walked on, letting the silence sit between the two before hearing Ximal speak once more, asking a question.

"Well. Coming from a place as primitive as Taloba, I find them interesting. With their spells, chants, and books they're definitely masters of their craft. Well, most of em anyway, but thats what makes em so dangerous." Apos said before clenching his jaw to think about his next statement. "But, I've taken note to avoid Sorcs. Even in the field. I have no defenses against them and they have every offensive right to kill me where I stand. Though they interest me, that doesn't breed a likeness unfortunately." Apos said as he lifted his shirt, letting Ximal see the flash burns on the skin under his left ribcage along with the arrow scars on his abdomen, though they were irrelevant. "It'd take a long time for one to gain my trust, but I guess I'd rather have one as an ally, than an enemy."

Xi followed behind apos now a half step slower than him. Xi's arms folded across his chest and the lingering response from apos in the air. "It's fine apos...Not really anyone from Sunberth has ever shared that view with me." Xi smirked, used to having the lone stand point of trying to be the best he could be within the limitations of his own moral code. One which most sunberthians he knew didn't share. However apos' response was one he didn't expect to come swiftly. mastery of their craft was what made them dangerous. Xi smirked in thought to that statement. before responding before he let apos continue to speak. "Not all mages, are masters. But all are dangerous, regardless of how much skill a man woman or child has, ever-one possesses "potential" and that potential could be the thing that one day gets you. Any person could become a mage, and any person could be a potential death sentence."

Xi closed his eyes and let apos finish exhaling lightly he was interested in them but that didn't breed a fondness. Xi smirked and opened his eyes to catch the glance of the burns. The arrow marks were irrelevant, possible remnants from a city long since left behind. "When it comes to mages, i know better than most that they're dangerous-" Xi lifted his own shit and showed the burns on his chest, self inflicted but apos didn't need to know that."-I've enough understanding of what it's like to fight a mage who can throw fire, and one who could punch with twice the force of a normal man." Xi lowered his shirt again and folded his arms agin, the slow pace to apos' camp was a little bit of a walk now but either way Xi was just reminiscing on things he'd seen and done.
