Vitalos was no fool. He knew that turning back now would put him at a disadvantage. Better to press the assault for the moment and see if he could inflict any damage. He smirks inwardly as Korin strikes with both hands, and no weight behind the blows. A foolish move, as now he would be hard pressed to guard if Vitalos countered. Though perhaps Vitalos was underestimating him, and Korin had something up his sleeve. That would remain to be seen; the human just had to remain on guard.

Vitalos turns his palm strike into a sweep, slamming his left arm down to push away Korin's strike even as he leans back slightly to avoid them. The instant he managed to block them, he chambers his already extended right arm and lashes his elbow out for Korin's left shoulder. It was a decently risky move in that he could be exposed if it failed, but a risk every now and again was worth taking.
