The Stables we're busy. Packed with buyers and employees. Horses bustling out the stables with a rider or seller. The sight of the horses was just beautiful. Although the pay was very little it would be worth it. Laurie loved animals, especially horses. She remembered the first horse she ever had. It was a mixed blood. A cross between a windrunner and something else. Laurie took care of it until it was two, she just had to give him up, sadly.
Laurie approached the first stall she came across, which held a spotted grey Bloodbane. A beautiful stallion with a bobbed take and short mane. Laurie though he must've been important by his appearance."Hello boy." Laurie approached the horse slowly, patting the back of his neck." Are you a prized stallion? You sure look like one with your fancy saddle and bridle, your nice hair... or should I say mane cut and your cut short tail." Laurie sighed grabbing a brush." It's a honor to groom you."
She slowly rubbed the the horse's coat. In circular motions before switching her brush, a nice bristled one that was sure to get any extra dirt on the beautiful coat. She was careful not to touch the mane or tail. The last thing she wanted to do is was ruin it and get in trouble.
She had gotten smaller brushes to clean the face and did the same circular motions."That's right boy, let's keep that face clean." She laughed a bit. Once she finished up she gave the horse a treat." Thank you for being good and patient." Laurie moved on to her next stable.
