Inarta and NPC Questions

Hello,
My character is an Inarta, and I wanted her to be a glassworker apprentice, however I'm having a few doubts:

1) I want her to be 19 already. It's acceptable to the Inarta to be still an apprentice at that age?
2) If so, do I have to apply for an NPC to be her mentor or there are already NPCs that take apprentices?
3) When I want to make a thread where she will be interacting with her mentor, do I need to ask permission to control this NPC?
4) Which caste should she be on? I guess she would be a Chiet, but I wanted to be sure.
5) If her mother is a Dek, she would be raised in the nursery, but would she be able to know who her mother was?

1) Yup, that should be fine. My pc was an glassblower apprentice til she was almost 18
2) I did make an NPC for my PC, but you may want to check and see if someone has made an NPC since then.
3) That would depend if you created them or not. But if you didn't create them, I'd say yes.
4) At 19 she'd be an Avora glassblower
5) Funny thing about Wind Reach, most people there don't know their parents, because their too busy or don't have enough coin to take care of them. So it isn't really common, but it is possible.

I believe the only way she would have known her mother if she was in a higher caste (Chiet and up)
